Aye, but the alternatives were much worse considering what he wanted to renegotiate...
Had to bite the bullet at some point, His original contract was insane, but renewing it was a poor decision on my part. Should have let him go earlier but I got lulled into thinking he was indespensible. It allows me to re-sign Brito for a reasonable contract and there are some good cornerbacks in the draft.
