    { It is 12:00 am midnight and those listening to KILO Radio in Cleveland are in for a shock as creepy eerie music begins to play. After about a minute we hear a strange voice over the airways it almost sounds nightmarish you might say. }

    Voice: Glad you have tuned into our new radio football talk program, where I will be talking weekly with a member of the Cleveland Claws I am your host Kreddy Frugger. I will be chatting with new GM Ira Bowman who we have in the dungeon tonight. Welcome Mr. Bowman.

    Ira: Thank you for having me in this creepy place of a broadcast area. I guess you have some questions for me so lets get going.

    Frugger: Yes I do have some questions first and foremost I have done some checking and I don't see your name connected anywhere in football. Not in Pros, collage, high school, or even pee wee. So I take it you don't know much about managing a football team do ya?

    Ira: Yes you are right I don't have much football knowledge but I do have experience at management. That is how I have gotten this job. It is not my job to call the plays it is my job to make the tough calls and mange the team, the coaches, and the spending. We have scouts too look at talent and yes I will make the final call on who we trade for, who we draft. I will decide who we resign. Cleveland has a history of paying too much money to players that are getting over the hill. Let me tell you Frugger fan favorites will only sell tickets for so long. Championships sell tickets, selling tickets makes money, money we need to get players we want here.

    Frugger: So I take it there is some players here you don't want and others you'd like to bring in?

    Ira: That is right, matter of fact there is a player I'd love to trade for but due to past unwise spending and our team's $46.32 Mill in lost cap space this year. I can't get him. I feel if I'd be able to get him we would be looking at being division champs for sure. Maybe even have real shot at winning the IFL championship. Shoot with that lost cap space I could have that player and still have money for another star player. We are also already penalized for next year too $7.04 Mill and no one can answer too me where this penalty is from. I see it taking a few years but look for our finances to change in the near future.

    Frugger: Well fans we are willing to take some calls if anyone like to give us a ring just call the regular request line and we will take your questions. Now a word from our sponsor.

    Here comes the king here comes the big number one for when you say Budweiser you said it Claws.

    Frugger: Welcome back fans we got our first caller, your on the air with Kreddy & Ira what's your question?

    Fan: Yeah Ira what are you some kinda fruitcake manager that manages fruitcake bakeries at Christmas to only see it all get thrown in the trash? I mean you have already traded P Walter Hardy away? He is better than Liesegang and you give him away for a 4th & 5th rd pick what in the __ Beep __ are you thinking? Little Rock must be celebrating.

    Ira: I am sure Little Rock is and we wish Hardy the best of luck in Little Rock. My thinking on this is why do we have 2 Punters on this team yes Hardy is better than Liesegang, but I feel Liesegang can get the job done and when it will come time to resign these two men Liesegang will be cheaper to resign leaving maybe 1 to 2 mill extra to spend elsewhere for linemen who will see much more playing time, or secondary. We also have some skilled players getting up in age that we are going to need to replace soon. Also choosing to trade Hardy over Liesegang I believed would generate more interest. Now with that two extra picks if we see a player we really like say still available at pick 17 and we don't think he will fall to 21 where we are we can offer one or both these picks to try and swap spots to get our man. Say we are not able too trade up, then we hope our guy falls to us if not we draft someone else we like, or trade down. Way I see it those extra picks will give us more options at getting who we want. In the future you will be seeing us being a lot more active in the trade market. I am not scared to try and get who I want sometimes it works some times it doesn't.

    { 10 calls later }

    Frugger: Well, I for one hope it works, you have a lot to prove and things could get nasty here in Cleveland if they don't work. Let's take another caller.

    Fan: Mercury Sander had a great game this past week is he also a player that could be traded away? I'd hate too see you trade greatness like that away.

    Ira: Yes Sander was a huge part of the reason we won this last week 257 yards rushing last week. He is in only his 6th year has 6479 yards total and 36 TD's. He is currently not on the trading block. However and this goes for any team member if another team was to contact us with a offer I feel will make this team better even if it makes us worse for that year I will trade a player away. I am willing to lose a couple extra games in 1 season to hopefully be better for 5-6 seasons. Also how much of a hit we have to take if we are contacted will play into it. As I stated earlier tonight I'd really like to go after a certain guy however for example WR Vaughn was mentioned as possibly being part of that trade but as that other GM I spoke too said he would cost us a huge penalty. Had it not been such a huge penalty Vaughn might be playing elsewhere this next week. So to answer your question f the price is right and we can afford it anything could happen. However a player like Sander at this point we are not actively seeking to trade. However we will always being willing to hear all offers on anybody a person might be interested in.

    Frugger: Well we have game to the end of the show and let's hope our new GM does not cost us all to have nightmares here in Cleveland. Good night all.

            Ira's Clawz made a stunning debut beating Hartford 42-13 and twilight years veteran QB went 27/28 for 337yds and 3 TDs!

            For our part P Walter Hardy had a huge day for us not only setting up the opening score with a 70 yard punt that the returner fumbled on his own 15 but stepping in to go 3/3 on PATs after our kicker went down.

            GG Ira!

              { It is 12:00 am midnight again and nearly every Cleveland fan is listening to KILO Radio in Cleveland as the creepy eerie music begins to play. After about a minute we hear that strange voice over the airways it differently sounds nightmarish indeed. }

              Frugger: Welcome Claws fans to the second airing of our weekly Football program. First off for you fans out there that enjoy our show we want a name for it so I am asking you the fans to submit your idea of what we should name the show. Some ideas I have thought of is "Claw Stew" you know like recipe for success. " Razor Sharp Claws " " Clawz Nightmare Football " So send us a shout out of your idea and we could pick your title. Meanwhile tonight here in my little dungeon I'd like to welcome Clawz's coach Jason Bolinger as we interview hm.

              Bolinger: Thanks Kreddy for having me and I must say this dungeon is kinda creepy looking painted in black and blood red.

              Frugger: Wait till I start decorating it, once done only a true fan of Clawz will want to enter here. Now lets talk about yesterday's opponent. The Hartford Whalers and how you feel your team did.

              Bolinger: First I'd like to say good game to Soxnation34 & the Whalers. We really wanted to try and mix up the game with running and passing. We was hoping what Mercury Sander would have another good day rushing and gain 125 yards that did not happen. The Whalers really had his number and only allowed him 42 yards on 19 carries. Matter fact we only had 1 decent run play the whole game thanks to Godfrey's 43 yard run in 1st quarter. Over all though I was disappointed in our run game. 141 yards on 31 attempts.

              Frugger: Well I agree it was not the same game we saw against Portland and I realize that kinda yardage doesn't happen every day but neither does what I saw yesterday in your passing game.

              Bolinger: Agreed but sure wish it did!!! Betchel had the game of a lifetime something I'd of never dreamed what would happen. Granted it takes everything falling just right to get this lucky. O Line protecting him, receivers holding onto the pass. Then he himself putting the ball where it is suppose to be thrown. I am amazed when I look at these numbers. 27/28 passing for 337 yards and 3 TDs. For a rating of 152.5. Turnbull QB of Arizona was named offensive player of week but in my eyes I really feel Betchel was player of the week. That's the way it goes though at times.

              Frugger: Well we need to take a break and have a word from one of our sponsors

              Sponsor: Where are you going now that 2030 season is over? Clawz Team: Back to work we did not win the championship. Sponsor: If only they had won they would of went to Disney World. Work Hard Play Hard, then when you reach your goal and your dreams come true you are in Disney World.

              Frugger: OK we have a caller, your on the air with Frugger & Bolinger

              Fan: Yeah what do you think of that nut job of a GM you all have Ira Bowman? Wish I could of got on the other night and I'd of told him a thing or two.

              Bolinger: I think he has a lot to learn, especially if he intends to trade every good player we have. We could trade away all our best players and literally draft the best 12-15 players every year out of collage. However it takes time for them to learn, train, and gel. So I have talked to him and he still says anybody could be traded anytime. However he also ensured me that the superstars he invests in a high % of them will play the majority of their career here in Cleveland.

              Fan: That was a sweet pick 6 that Van Pelt had Sunday returning that puppy for 64 yard to score. Tell me your thoughts there.

              Bolinger: Any pick 6 or fumble recovery for score is huge. However let's do look at FS Van Pelt. He is nearing the end of his career now in his 11th year. He has only played 4 games for us. In those 4 games he has gotten 2 interceptions compared to his previous 4. He has more yards in returns his 4 games with us, than he did with the other 4 interceptions combined. I personally hope his health holds up and his LV of play continues where it is or even improves. Thought of him finishing this and next year with 16 interceptions & 8 TD's would differently be a Cinderella story. Then again with just what he has now some would consider that Cinderella enough.

              Krugger: Join us next week as our guest will be Mercury Sander as I give him a nickname lol Have a nightmarish night if your not a Clawz fan.
