1.8 The Catfish were super-excited when Linebacker Winston "Churchill" Falcone from Mississippi dropped into their lap at the 8th pick overall. It is no secret that Carolina had one of the worst run defenses in the league and continued to get picked apart by 5-10 yd. passes. Falcone is also a dynamic pass rusher and should take the double teams away from Defensive End Cheung. The Catfish believe that Falcone was the best athlete in the draft and are looking forward to seeing what becomes of their defense this year after adding standout CB Laroque last year.



2.5 The Catfish, scared that Dakota would choose one of the last of the good RB's, traded up two spots with the Voodoo and added a 4th round pick to choose Washington State RB, Jesse Jenkins. Jenkins is the every down back with power that the Catfish have been looking for since Geitka retired last year. Jenkins should set up the fleetfooted Chuckwhara nicely as a change of pace. Jenkins also has great pass catching skills which should help Wesley May check down when he is under pressure.

you can get some system guys -- 30-40 rated WRs/TEs with the right bars can get it done, it ain't always pretty but they can it done.
