My reply wasn't directed at you and I have no problem with you at all man.

My team were approved to move to Baltimore and they are moving to Baltimore.
The game will treat them as if they are actually in Baltimore.
For increased interest/fun reasons I've just decided to call them something different and this has been okayed by the Commish.

There isn't a game option to try and move to the UK so I wasn't able to try.
I've gotten about as close as I can.
If I'd been around when this league had started I would have requested my team be UK based.
This really is a non issue and hopefully it will add something/a different aspect to the league as a whole.

Anyway, hopefully it's all good.
We've got some football to play.

the way I see it, we've always had to change the team city in game. that hasn't prevented people to propose and change the geographic name
IE
Burlington VT became Vermont
Fresno became California became Fresno
Fargo became Dakota

etc.

what's different in this situation is that WIC has an approved move to Baltimore. For an immersion factor he's requested that a cosmetic change to London. London is not an option in game. Same as with the existing 2 canadian cities. If I wanted to try and relocate to "toronto" I couldn't.

Really UKP is trying to add an immersion factor for himself that has 0 impact on the game. I will put this to a vote for the masses to vote on. I will make it a private ballot.

Its only a cosmetic thing, Wichita will move to 'Baltimore' in game as planned but that City will be renamed London.

So the Miles from won't be realistic? Penn will be traveling 200 miles to london for a road game?

Dakota Spirits refuse to play any games off US soil. We will not travel to London for any games int he future.
