After losing by one point to Division rival Vancouver and then by a touchdown in Cleveland, The Carolina Catfish got their first win today in huge fashion.
Wesley May threw for 269 yards, but it was the suspect defense that held the Madison Demons to no points. The secondary held QB Dennis Grier to only 78 yards through the air, as RB, J.C. Devine was knocked out of the game early. Peckham filled the gap, but fumbled in a critical drive. Grier was also picked off once.
The offensive line kept May upright all game long and had numerous key run blocks to lead the Catfish to a 30-0 win. However....there is no time to celebrate as they travel to juggernaut Lawrence next week.
