New tactic....blind opponents to death with the stadium lights glaring off the helmets blinding everyone within 20 yards!! What those need is about 4 more coats of lacquer to add to the 27 coats already applied!

I was inspired by the Georgia Boise State game this weekend...ugliest combination of uniforms and helmets I've ever seen...lol

I simply hide the uniform, the blocking, and the background and work with the helmet alone for the lids I've been using..

I'm obviously doing something wrong. I can get the face mask color to change, but when it does it colors everything the same color and can't change the other colors of the component parts.

Also don't see a layer for the helmet stripes.

I had to make the helmet stripes myself, and I'm using Gimp, so it's a slightly different process... what are you using?

Go here for a dumbed down for Hoosier's Gimp version...sans uniform, with the facemask already cut out, and helmet cut out, and some stripe packages....
