There's rumors out of the Oakland area that the current, Oakland Devildogs, are soon to return to the silver and black, and shedding the military theme, returning to the Assassin nameplate.
The Oakland front office took notice last season of a fan poll showing 92% of the fanbase did not like the current colors or nickname and 78% of fans voted to return to the "Assassin" identity. While the Oakland front office has failed to return any calls concerning this change, local contractors were hired this week to do a complete overhaul of the offices and training facilities.
