Fresh off of a miserable 4-12 season Ogre fans were looking for a few changes that would return the team back into a contender, a status they enjoyed only a few seasons ago. Instead, what they receieved was a massacre. In the weeks after the season ended the sporting section of the Lansing Ledger read more like an obituary column. Among the casualties:

Not only was the club in turmoil, but so was the ownership. It was rumored Morellomre was close to stepping down despite previously commiting to the Ogres for the 2016 season. The fanbase, after losing the heart and soul of the team and facing an uncertain outlook went into action.
On the eve of the draft a militant faction within the fanbase decided to do the unthinkable overthrow the Ogre ownership. The draft war room has literally become one as the front office has barricaded itself inside vowing not to surrender as the rebel group sieged the team HQ. Their lives literally hang in the balance now as the rebels have demanded the Ogres return the team to respectability.
