-31 J.C. Boldin - Safety - Boston U. 40/78 Rated at No. 145 by the IFL scouts, his bars looked much better. Picking this late in the 1st I never expect much but maybe a player that would make a impact 2-3 years from the time they are drafted. He looks like his impact will be immediate. He also has promise as a CB but will be moved around to see where he best fits in the secondary. With a 4.5 speed he could do a good job for us at both positions. We will trim him down in TC and go from there. I assume that he played hockey or basketball for Boston U. They don't have a football program.

-31 Traded to Vancouver for MLB Karl Hinson. Nice upgrade for the LB's.
-31 Mack "The Truck" Monroe, Guard - Alabama 25/67 This was a need pick with the loss of LG Schulz to Geo. Looks to be a worthy replacement. Hopefully he develops quickly.
-31 Dennis Grier, QB - Texas 17/45 Not too happy with his ratings but you never know. I can always hope for a random boom at TC. Got to do something quick before Chung retires, so I do hope to see some kind of impact due to him playing at Texas U.(Probably only in attendance) His not-so-smart fat brother from another mother, Louie signed with the hated Tigerhawks.
-31 Norm Wooden, CB - Southern University 00/00 This guy looks like he has holes but he holds all 5 of the things I look for in CB's. Run D,MtoM,PlayDiag,Interceptions, and Endurance. He'll never be a superstar but a very good back-up at the very least. 60% developed. Negative is his size. 5"10" 184lbs
-31 Louis Naftis, WR - Purdue 00/00 Not to bad but I dont expect that TC will do him anything but harm. He's a will see.
-31 Nolan Griffin, WR - Texas 00/00 Same here. High Volatility could kill both these last picks.
