Stop me if you've heard this one before. There will be no playoffs in Fargo this year.

Consider me skeptical if you wish, but I'm not sure if Argot really knows how to run a team. Let's examine, shall we?

Since his take over in 2005, just what do we have to root for here in "Spirit land"?

2007 - 5-10
2008 - 3-13
2009 - 8-8
2010 - 6-10

So i'm guessing we're looking at a 4-12 season if the pattern holds correctly. And to make it worse, it seems like we win the last games, just to kill our draft position.

This year we were promised a "new bag of goods"! A new coach...A new QB of the future. Even brought in a "proven" veteran in Devon Taylor. Wait...where have I heard that one before *cough* David Humphrey. (Who by the way is still available as a free agent...shhh...Argot may be looking)

By the way...just in case you were wondering...Barker didn't look so good himself...that first preseason game was some kind of anomoly.

Ok...Qualls is a monster in the middle. Shergalis is great on the outside line. Ramey...looks like maybe he lost a step...Bridges, looks like he may be the future of our run defense. But can we freakin stop a pass????? What kind of secondary is this.

Everybody seems to be dropping balls...Even the sure handed Dworak (sounds like some creature from the Land of the Lost) can secure the balls.

Too many fumbles to count...A penalty on every play...And I thought we brought this new coach in for his discipline.

Oh well...It's good to know I can enjoy my holidays with the family on vacation next year. Can't imagine what it will be like when I actually have to go to a playoff game in January.

Spirt had about half a dozen drive killing drops against the Mules. Not saying that was the difference in a 3 TD loss, but it could not have hurt the Spirit cause to have only had 1 or 2 drops.

Dakota Management openly denies the previous report as an official statement from the club.
