2011 IFL Mock Draft
1. Salt Lake City- QB Rodney Barker (San Diego St.)- Coming off the worst season in franchise history the Stallions look to rebuild starting with Barker.
2. West Virginia- CB Christian Jacobs (Arizona St.)- The Beast turn their attention to the defense in their rebuilding plan. The Beast hope to get their shut down corner.
3. Orlando- CB Cris Bailey (North Carolina St.)- Orlando was 29th in the league in passing yards allowed. Bailey is the man here.
4. Reno- DT Ike Kendall (Colorado)- The Wolfpack look to shore up the defensive line here with Kendall. The team may have more pressing needs but Kendall is too good to pass up.
5. Montreal- RB Bobby Osborne (South Carolina)- The Firebirds get themselves a home run threat out of the backfield.
6. Newark- LT Marlon Gillette (Colorado)- Kao's replacement is in the HIZZY!
7. Tulsa- RB Ken Singleton (UCLA)- Singleton will help take off some of the pressure off young QB Sanford.
8. Georgia- RT Brock Heath (Maryland)- The Generals need help desperately at the offensive tackle positions.
9. Pittsburgh- CB Marty Buckley (Bentley)- The Power are pleased to find Buckley still on the board for their pick.
10. Dakota- QB Horace Donovan (Texas Tech)- The Spirit get their QB of the future or NOW.
11. Louisiana- DE Dan Ehret (Mississippi St.)- The VooDoo's DE's are doo doo. Ehret fits in nicely here.
12. Boston- RB Renaldo Chapman (Notre Dame)- Good pick here because its a need and Champman looks like a stud.
13. Los Angeles- WR Arnold Greene (Valparaiso)- The Liberty have other needs but no guys at them positions worthy at #13. Greene give Jacobs another weapon.
14. California- LT Ralph Young (Miami, Fla.)- The Heroes get a good pick here in Young which is a major need.
15. Oakland- DE Phil Miller (Tennessee Tech)- The Devils need help in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Miller is the pick here.
16. Cleveland- DT Bart Blades (Iowa)- Blades will fit in nicely on the Clawz front four.
17. Hartford- DE Kenneth Reeg (Michigan St.)- The former champs look to retool the DL. Questions about his character concerns the front office but they pull the trigger anyway because thats how they ROLL!
18. Vancouver- DE Joseph Gonzalez (Wisconsin)- Gonzalez falls into the lap of the Whales. There are questions about if he is a every down lineman in a 4-3. He seems like a good fit for a 3-4 but the Whales think he can be successful in a 4-3.
19. Texas- WR Don Gomez (Florida)- The Trojans add to the WR corps.
20. Tulsa- LB Jamie McDaniel (Southeast Missouri St.)- Tulsa added a RB earlier now they go defense with McDaniel.
21. Lansing- DE Rufus Wilkins (Oregon)- The Ogres get there Shrek.
22. Wichita- RB Morris Schiavi (California)- The Outlaws need a RB. Duane "Big Bitch" Rau should not be running the ball.
23. Houston- DE Archie Simmons (Texas A&M)- Houston is happy to get a starting DE this late in the draft.
24. Murfreesboro- LB Antoine Fulton (Oklahoma)- The Mules are looking for depth as the starting lineup looks great.
25. Madison- OG Chuck Parrish (Western St.)- Demons fill a need at OG.
26. Houston- CB Korey McGough (Iowa St.)- Houston looks to add some youth to a aging secondary.
27. Portland- RB Shawn Galloway (UNLV)- This multi-purpose back gives Caro another weapon.
28. Iowa City- LB Marco Langley (Rice)- The Snipe Hunters are desperate for OG's and OLB's. They are happy to get Langley here. He fills a need.
29.Norfolk- RB Russell Winters (Ohio St.)- Winters fills a big need here.
30. Lawrence- WR Monty Hodel (Assumption)- They could use a CB here but Hodel looks too good to pass on.
31. Iowa City- RT Louie Owens (Alabama)- Snipe Hunters need some OG's. Owens could make the switch for them.
32. Vermont- WR Andre Watt (Harvard)- The champs get themselves a playmaker.
