Gaston Lomeli and Ken Allmon have signed their final contracts in the IFL. Lomeli has had an outstanding career with Oakland. Drafted in the initial draft in 2003, he has rushed for 6628 yards and 54 touchdowns with another 8 receiving touchdowns. Untill last season when Rico Bailey took the starting job, Lomeli was the man in Oakland. A force on special teams and Hamilton's saftey valve for the past 8 seasons, he signed a 3 year, 4.17 million dollar contract which in all respects, should be his final contract.
Ken Allmon has been a force in the Oakland defensive backfield since he was drafted in the 15th round of the initial IFL draft. Racking up 791 tackles, 287 assists with 12 sacks and 10 interceptions during his career, he will taken seriously for the IFL Hall Of Fame. Last week he signed a 3 year, 8.69 million dollar contract which should take him to retirement for the Oakland Devils.
Don't count either of them out this year as they look to continue their domination and assault on the IFL record books before they hang up their cleats for good.
