The teams were chosen by a panel of 5 members. Myself, Jeff, Suicane, MrBiggs, and Vic Carruci. Grats to all the players that made it.

Typical Hartford team performance, one starter but 4 backups on the team. I'll take that.

            Great job guys!

It just occured to me that Wideman is a candidate for the 2k7 retire function. Uh oh.

NFC East sends all 3 safeties in the NFC to the game.

Thanks for the votes on the LAW players! I have to admit this is now the 2nd time I've seen Palmieri's name (league awards as well) and it surprised me. I'll have to go back and look but I didn't think he had a great season.

Were these selections made on ratings or stats? Or a combination of both?

It was a 5 person panel. None of my votes had anything to do with ratings. I chose the guys with the best stats mixed with popularity (slightly), and focused on importance to their team's success. I believe others used similar criteria.

We all had certain stats we seemed to personally favor. We each tossed out nominations then any player recommended by the majority was chosen. Some choices were easy, others were strongly debated. All in all it was a fun process.
