New Site Features

I'll use this thread to announce new things I cook up and add to our league...

The first thing I have to announce is a new link I've added to the top of this forum: Plus/Minus & Penalties. 'Plus/Minus' refers to the plus/minus chart at the end of each game log. 'Penalty %' is penalties / total plays. I make no distinction between accepted and declined penalties. I'll update this data after each sim.

I've also added a link to the Hall of Fame visualization.

I've added a new dashboard -- the hidden Avoid Interception bar based on tzach's formula. These are based on the league scout's future ratings. I'll update this every season after preseason week two. Link is at the top of the forum.

I'm glad to see a website back up and running. Thank you, Joe.

However, after checking out the site, I do have one question/concern. I clicked on the "Rosters" tab and it immediately displays every active QB's "Avoid Interceptions" rating. Isn't this supposed to be a hidden rating that Jim purposely left hidden from the game itself? I was under the impression that Jim left certain ratings hidden in order to make users connect the dots by way of checking players' actual in-game statistics for interceptions, fumbles, etc. over a period of time (as opposed to avoiding a player completely because of access to ratings that are supposed to be hidden). To me, this seems like a shortcut that might compromise the integrity of the league. I, in no way, intend for this post to be insulting to anybody in the league. Its just something I acknowledged. I'm also fairly new to FOF8, so maybe some other members could chime in on this? Thanks.

For what its worth, I posted my previous message before seeing Joe's post about tzach's formula. What is this formula?

I was taking a cue from IHOF which also has that rating displayed. Keep in mind that this rating is an estimate based on tzach's formula. I don't have access to the actual rating.
