Thanks for doing this, guys. For the most part, you guys were on to me drafting a CB. Well done.

RB Kenneth Venable was almost my pick, I just figured as little as we use a RB I'd get better value out of a pass blocking interior lineman.

Based on this 3 of you had 2 guys going in the first I got at the end of the 1st and early 2nd (Weber and Radda) so hopefully a good sign.

I thought he would be a good fit for your offense. You have done a heavy passing attack, and he looked like an amazing pass catching back who could also run the ball for you when you did call runs.

Absolutely. In hindsight I probably should’ve gone that way, there were plenty pass blocking interior linemen later. My chinking at the time was

              1. My o line can’t run block, especially my interior
              2. I’ve been having endurance problems with nearly my entire interior o line
              3. For the amount of usage a running back has in my offense I figured I could find something later on and the interior lineman would be used every play
              4. Spend some draft picks on linemen hopefully keeping them around for a while helping to build up cohesion and quit using FA so much, which seems to cause a revolving door at at least one starting position a year for me
              5. If I build up this interior o line with great pass blockers and average run blockers I may be more likely to successfully utilize someone like him in the future

I’ve never been able to successfully incorporate a pass catching running back, it seems the targets to backs are never as efficient as equally skilled receivers. However I have never had as skilled of a pass catching RB as him and it would’ve been fun too see if I could’ve gotten the most out of him.

                  Thanks as always guys!

Two of you correctly noted I had a need at guard, and while Ross went a couple picks earlier I still didn't like him for some reason - was he a bit on the small side?

So I took the C Askin (who is massive) and I'll play the risky C->G conversion game I think

Those were my top 2 "realistic" targets cause you know obviously Davis, and Creamer existed. I probably had rivera as my best. I didn't think Rivera would make it to me cause I had him as the best defensive player in the draft. O'Donnell I was a bit lower on until I interviewed him. I didn't do any interviews until after the mock draft this year, so that is why I had him at 13 in the mock. So you would've had to get in front of me to have had a shot on Rivera.

Luckily for you Los Angeles didn’t accept my offer
