That being said, I think part of it has to do with you getting pasted by Vermont last week, that is still on people's minds.

Nothing much.. just wanted to see that line again.. made me feel all fuzzy inside..

Thanks for offering up the discussion, I love when people discuss their ranking, even if it is because they don't like it! That being said, I think part of it has to do with you getting pasted by Vermont last week, that is still on people's minds. You were ranked ahead of SLC on one list though.
...and also, SLC has 3 victories over teams with a winning record. Oakland has 0.

Really, discussion is a good thing. Power rankings are not the easiest things to do. I think that SLC is a helluva team. Did they lose last week? Yes they did. I think Newark is a better team than their record shows. Their D is among the league best when you look at yds allowed. I wasn't all that suprised to see them win this game. The thing that hurts OAK is getting dominated by VER, and then losing again to LAW.
There are a lot of teams that I see as "over achieving" because of their soft schedules. It will work itself in the end!

Ok, now thats just insulting. I do hope you are not referring to Oakland. The past 2 years, we have played the TOUGHEST schedule year in and year out. Win/loss wise, we got a break this year............only to get 6 out of 7 on the road. We have NEVER got a break in scheduling. Your right though. It will work itself out.
That still doesn't excuse the insult of consistently being ranked behind a team we have beat in their crib AND have a better record.

(BTW...........its a slow night and I am just bitching because I have a week to bitch about shit before I can beat the holy hell out of Lawrence).

It might be an insult, but from an outside perspective it is a reasonable arguement. We said the same thing about Wichita when they were 3-1, 4-1...and now they have lost their last two games also. They were winning against weaker teams and are 0-3 against teams with a winning record.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Cring......................You will feel the wrath of the Assassins in the playoffs. We have now posted your insults on the chalk board for all to see. Sorry Lawrence, you will be the first to feel our pain!

I laugh because (and I will not normally reveal this info, but this is good timing) I am the one pollster who had you ahead of SLC, one spot.

I still stand by my arguements about why you are/could be ranked below SLC though. I am defending the rankings as a whole, which is how they should be/are viewed.

So when I beat them for the second time this year, you all can take your rankings and predications and..................well............you know.
SLC is my BITCH! I called the shit weeks before the season started, and I am once again calling it now. I WILL BEAT SLC AGAIN.

Who cares if you do? They're a .500 team. It's like bragging about beating the Redskins

By definition aren't YOU the first to feel YOUR pain?

Don't worry... 4-4 is a good record in your division right now.

Jave, I love the chatter. I do NOT think you are going to score 30 offensive points this week though. This might be the second best defense you have played against all year (the first being Ver, which held you to 7 pts).

I'll remember that when James Tart shreds that pathetic defense of yours on our way to a dominating performance in your crib. You can't stop SLC and both Orlando and Vermont showed us all how to stop your chuck and pray offense. SLC will not only beat that ass next time we're going to do it BIG. The HeadBussa's have returned.
