Has expected, Oakland only played the starting unit one quarter, however, the second team proved that they wanted it as much has the first team, taking home the win over Norfolk 24-20.
The buzz however, is growing over the impressive play of newcommer Kurt Bice. In game one he dominated with 9 catches 156 yards and 2 TD's. With only a quarter to showcase his talents, he was impressive again with 4 catches 55 yards and another TD.
Not to be outdone, the entire team was amazing! FB Matthew Myer led the way rushing 19 times for 92 yards. Starting RB Connell, having a fun day, was seem laughing and playing pranks on the sidelines, averaged almost 9 yards a carry and a TD. Tessier, who was made a backup reciever this year with the addition of Bice, proved he can start for any team in this league by pulling in 4 catches for 96 yards.

This is not the same Oakland team we left at 6-10 last year, let me assure you folks. These guys are energized and ready to play. They are well aware of their General Managers "Year 3 Predication", and seem to not only welcome the challenge, but embrace it.
Call it preseason, say the games don't mean a thing, but let me assure you, if you step on the field with the Assassin's, you better bring your "A" game.
