Fargo, ND (AP) - The Fargo Brave Bulls announced the selling of the team to an east coast businessman, Ken Argot, for an undisclosed amount. In a league interveiw, Mr. Argot said, "Well my family isn't crazy about the idea of moving to North Dakota. My wife says that it's way too cold up here, but the people are nice enough, and I believe we can develop a winning tradition here for the good people of this region."
Mr. Argot also noted that to improve regional popularity, the name of the team would be changed to Dakota. "In honor of the rich heritage of this state and the Sioux/Dakota Indians, we have chosen to name them the Spirit." The team colors were revealed today, midnight blue, copper, and gold. The helmet depicts an indian chief in headdress, and the logo is a steer skull and feathers.
"May the Spirit of Dakota bring us victory!", mayor Bruce Furness announced as he presided over the festivities.
