He is still around and has played some this year and played well. He kinda fell in the doghouse this offseason with his lazy attitude. Plus, Denard Robinson just got so much better. He says, he isn't gonna transfer but he should IMO. He is a good QB and he should find another school.

You guys are stoned. Nebraskas schedule is insane. They will be lucky not to have 3 losses in the Big10 next season.

Nebraska just got done beating two top 15 teams convincingly. Taylor Martinez is a red shirt freshman and will only get better. They just signed a five star RB. Their defense is awesome. If they didn't choke against Texas, they would be in the talks for the National Title. They will certainly NOT lose 3 games in the Big 10. That's crazy talk.

Wow. Ifs and Buts. If Iowa didnt have a couple bad special team plas, we would be undefefeated and playing for a national championship. If Wisconsin didnt have a bad day, they would be undefeated. If Ohio St didnt have a bad day, they would be undefeated. If MSU had a running game they would be undefeated.
              Your arguements are weak.

I'm from Michigan and bleed Maize and Blue. I love the Big10 but im sorry there isn't an elite team in the conference this year.

Nebraska is seriously on the rise as a program. They are tearing it up in recruiting. They have Martinez plus 2 incoming top 10 freshman dual threat QB's next year. They are a good team finally again but now they are getting to the point where they will be adding depth. They have 9 recruits committed who are 4 star players according to Rivals and i'm sure they aren't done yet. The Black Shirts are close to being back.

Nebraska does have a tough Big10 schedule next year with road games @OSU, @MSU, and @Iowa. I seriously doubt they beat OSU in the whoreshoe but the other two games are winnable.

There are 2 elite programs this season. Auburn and Oregon. Thats it. No other conference has elite teams.
The Big 12 has the possibility of an Iowa St./Baylor title game.
Sayiong the Big10 is terrible is not true. The Big10 is a great conference with great teams.
Iowa will dominate some poor SEC team in a bowl this year. But its never enough.
What the Big10 does is outstanding. But we dont play that exciting spread offense that people think make you an elite program. The majority of Big10 teams line it up and stuff it down your throat. Thats not glamorous.

More teams in the Big10 run a form of spread compared to a pro set offense.

I'm still not sold on Auburn yet. I'm still no convinced that Cam can't be taken out of the offense, and they end up lost. He accounts for 95% of their offense. Shut him down, they go with him. Put a spy on him to shut down his run, cover the receivers and force them to beat you running or force someone else to step up and make plays. So far I haven't seen it. If he isn't involved, their offense does nothing.
Two teams to keep an eye on. Alabama, who is sitting quietly in the background, and Ohio St, who have CRUSHED everyone since they lost. TCU and Boise St....bleh, not impressed. Play a real schedule and get back to us.

The computers rely on win/loss records heavily to determine the SOS. I don't care how many games New Mexico St, Toledo, San Jose St and Louisiana St win because THEIR playing chumps to. And that's fine. Their playing lower end teams. The fact is, they just can't recruit and don't have the facilities or funding to compete with the Pac 10, SEC, Big Ten etc...
But don't beat up on Tennessee Tech, Southern Methodist, BYU and Air Force and expect to impress anyone. They have no business being in the top 5, or even top 10. Their good schools, good programs but they don't play the level of competition the the major programs play nearly every week.

That may be, but I think you just don't want Oregon to lose to Boise State for a 3rd straight season...

Yea, they beat Oregon in Chip Kellys first game ever at Oregon. Do you really think that's the same team you see today? You really think Boise would stand a chance? What would kill them is speed. I watched Boise twice this year, and while their a good team, they are really REALLY slow. Oregon would massacre them. But if Auburn slips and loses to Bama in the Iron bowl, you just might see them get their shot.

I think if Auburn loses to Bama in the Iron Bowl (which I think will be happening), we'll see Oregon vs. TCU. TCU should get a nice bump after beating Utah.
