  • GO TARCONE, GO HAWKEYES!!!

Figured I have to root for Iowa today so when Oregon beats USC it gives the computers one less team to jump to number one. If Michigan St is able to beat Iowa then their probably the next number one in the BCS.

I think Iowa wins 17-10. Our defense has been playing poorly lately. The defensive line will be on a mission today. Cousins will be looking at the clouds a lot today.

I don't know much about Iowa, but 2 of the 4 guys on ESPN gameday picked the Hawkeyes for the upset..

IU trails (nothing new) Northwestern 17-10, but it's doable. If we can pull our head out of our asses.

Yeah. That was their best game. Defense really came to play.

Michigan St. was way overrated. This was their first big time opponent and they failed. Wisconsin is in the drivers seat in the Big 10 and they are not all that IMO. The whole conference is fucking weak from the top to bottom.

I agree. Nebraska is gonna dominate that conference. National title game for Nebraska next year, bet on it.

                    How much?

You guys are blind. The Big10 is that good. So good that every week one of the best teams in the country can get smacked around.
Again, just like last year, when bowl season rolls around and the Big10 beats up on everyone, you will see an elite conference.

                      hey BOSS,
what happened to Tate Forcier? I liked him last year early. I know he struggled for a bit after that and Robinson has been crazy good this year, but Forcier looked like he could be the next big QB to come outta Michigan.

                        You sure about that.

                        Big 10 Bowl Results:

                        2009: 4-3
                        2008: 1-6
                        2007: 3-5
                        2006: 2-5
                        2005: 3-4
                        2004: 3-3
                        2003: 3-5

Not a very good record in the Bowl season as of late.

                          2009 bowl season

                          Wisconsin beat Miami, Fl.
Minny lost to ISU-- A one point loss by a terrible team
Northwestern lost in OT to this season #1 team, Auburn.
                          PsU beat LSU
                          Ohio St beat Oregon.
MSU lost by 10 to Texas Tech
Iowa dominated ACC champ Georgia Tech.

That is an impressive bowl season in my opinion.
Worst loss was a 10 point loss by MSU.
Otherwise the Big10 beat quality opponents and with the exception of the ISU/Minny game, the Big10 plays nothing but great teams in the bowls.

They had a good bowl season last season, but it's not the norm for the Big 10. When was the last time they had an above .500 bowl season besides last year?

Because we dont play pansies in the Bowls. We only play the best of the best. Some years are better then others.
