I hate this. I enjoyed the NU-CU rivalry, although NU won most of the time. I know I'm being naive, but I thought college sports was at least supposed to be partially about the student athlete and not solely about the money. Now we are looking at a strong possibility that the big 12 will fold and all the Big 12 south teams will end up in PAC 10 (16)! How any fans will travel to road games then? As a TTU football ticket holder I wouldn't mind seeing some PAC-10 teams come to town, but what about hoops? - KU's program could be screwed if they cant join a super-conf. This could all be avoided if they had gone to a playoff instead of the stupid BCS:-x

I agree with you completely on the BCS. It's changed the face of the sport forever. I couldn't imagine KU not getting an invite...perhaps the Big 10 should really consider overtures to the Jayhawks as well.

But man, Baylor, Iowa State, K State, and Kansas look to be on the outside looking in...which is sad...
