As a Raiders fan, I do not like this trade. This is the type of move a competitive team or a team on the cusp of competitiveness (Texans) make, the Raiders are neither. If we wanted to fix the run defense, we could have drafted Raji instead of a fast receiver who can't run routes and can't catch, about 15-20 spots early.

It's a tough time to be a Raiders fan. A lot of Raider fans are talking this trade up, just like a lot of Raiders fans convinced themselves that DHB was a solid draft pick.

he's also sued the league, but that makes him as much a retard as his past successes. It's what he's done the past seven or so years that have been a disaster and reason enough for him to be called a retard.

I mean the guy butchers the draft, butchers the way he handles his coaches and now he butchers a trade badly. The guy's a mess and he's made a mess of his team as well.

Al Davis won when he sued the NFL, and the second time some of the judges sided with him. There were questions about some of the jurors in the trial that Al Davis lost.

Look, Al Davis is extreme. No one denies this. His recent moves have not been good by any means, but what he has done as a commissioner and an owner far far outweighs his negatives.

Al Davis has always reminded me of Steinbrenner, and as a Sox fan, I hated having him run the Yankees until he started getting really old, then I loved it. It may be time for Davis to hang em up.
