so my understanding is we can put the IFL rosters in Madden Computer game and such? Then I think it would be a cool idea if one of the comishes like simmed the weekly matchups as a preview every week. You know how ESPN uses madden to sim an upcoming big game as a projected score. Dunno just an idea probably too much of a hassle who knows.

I don't know how much value I would put in one game simming a preview of another game that's going to be simmed with another engine.

Only realy use I see for this is if someone wants to do some promo-stuff of their own regarding their team.. I few seasons ago I made videos documenting the Mountaineer season.. others just enjoy adding some "photos" to their press-articles. Stuff like that.

I'm against adding any extra work to the commishes.. I think it's up to use, the GMs, to create extra immersion.

however true this may be. What "value" is it for ESPN to sim the games via madden and use it as a preview for real life NFL games. would you not consider those to be "different engines"?

to answer the question it is suppose to be for fun not a realistic preview just some fun.

I like the idea but keep in mind ESPN just hits "go" on a game where the players and schedule is already set.

Sounds like something that might be a good balance of effort-to-do/league-enjoyment come playoff time when there's less games to set-up for whoever would do it - not necessarily the commishes since this isn't connected to the IFL FOF file in any way.
