Hoochie Boochies, I made a few offensive signings of some veterans. Buddy Bell and Larry Bowa are in town. I upped my expenses such as scouting, farm system and medical staff but that means that my payroll is now $2 Million over budget. I should have just enough money to stay above water for this season but i need to do some winning baby.I luv British womenz.

what r u laughin at mister????
Ok, so heres how our organization looks heading into the 1978 season.
Our payroll budget is $2.3M, our actual Payroll is $4.5M and we have $2.3M in cash available.
Our lineup is acceptable but our pitching is oh so horrid. The likelyhood that we move some players for young pitchers near the trade deadline is pretty damn good.

Yikes, we started 1-12 but regained our footing to go 11-22 over the first month plus.
Schnizzle. On June 1st we're 24-36, 11 games back but fairly respectable for a 2nd year team.
Hernandez is hitting .346 and Winfield has 9 Homers. Our pitching however is indeed, atrocious.
Amateur Draft time. We have the 3rd pick.
Round 1: SS Cal Ripken 68/95
Round 2: SP Ron Romanick 53/92
Round 3: SP Andy Hawkins 50/88
Round 4: RF Rob Deer 53/82
Round 5: RP Rick Rodriguez 48/84
Round 6: SP Randy Kramer 48/83
On July 1st we're 39-46, 9.5 games out of first, damn.
By the end of July it's clear we arn't gonna win the division but it's also clear that the additions we've made arn't gonna get us what we want in trades so we decide to hang on to them and play out the year.
Holy freakin meter maids! We went 81-81? How the hell is that possible?
Andujar is coming into his own and gets a nice extension before he can hit free agency.Last edited by Suicane; 04-08-2008, 10:38 PM.I luv British womenz.
