    Welcome to FOF 2008!

    The comeback code was horrid in this game, only 3 points by the Giants until the 4th quarter, Then they and the Patriots go back and forth like lightning in the final 2 minutes? and whats with, Patriots are all over Manning, he throws a long pass, complete for 30 yards. First Down. Are you kidding me??? I hate this game...its so unrealistic. How does a wildcard team that barely made the playoffs beat my 18-0 team with 90 rated players and a hall of fame QB. And the playcalling, 4 catches to my best receiver Randy Moss???

    I'm through playing this game....

        The NFL lives!!!

        As I've stated in the past the up-close-and-personal hypocrisy of the Patriot's fans has driven me insane and unable to route for the home team for 23 years now (since the '85 slaughter). Tonight I sat in a room full of Pat's fans only 3-5 years removed from beating the Rams and watched the same scene unfold with ZERO acknowledgement from the Pats fans that their beloved "David" was now the exact same "Goliath" that they had slain mere seasons earlier.

        I even heard them, as a group, cry that the giants were "molesting the Pats' receivers", which only made me smile when thinking back on the "let them play" argument that I heard for many seasons when the Pats defense was holding the Colts' receivers.

        I'm absolutely convinced that a logical sports fan is found somewhere in about 1/300 sports fans (at least in my NorthEast US experience) and not even worth searching for. As much as I love sports I'm convinced that the majority of other sports fans are nothing more than overgrown babies with rattles in their hands that scream "mine. mine. mine!" over and over again everytime "their team" plays.

        My favorite team is the Bears. We won in '85. Since an NFL teams "share" of Super Bowls is currently 1 in 32 years I won't be "lacking" again until 2017. The Pats... until somewhere around 2100... yet Pats fans will still believe "they was robbed" or "gyped" for the next 90 or so years...

        I rarely use this term but that is absolutely pathetic.

        Congrats Giants! You rode an undeserving cry-baby "I refuse to make millions playing a kids game for a home team in San-Di-fucking-ego" QB to stardom he doesn't deserve, but you might've snatched it from the hands of the devil who deserved it less!
