No computer is pushing me over the edge. I have nothing to do and have been sitting almost all weekend. No games, no movies, no porn, no internet. I bought a fucking sudoku book yesterday for $3 just to have something to do when I can't stand reading my not very interesting book i got from a grocery store the other day. I fell asleep at 7 last night and woke up at 3 this morning. My load is not ready yet though, by noon hopefully. Then i get a little 6 hour break driving down to Houston at least, then back to insanity. Thankfully its sunday, i can hear some NFL games on Sirius. The worst was friday, i was waiting for a load in Austin and broke the power line on my Sirius, i was without for a few hours until i could get to a truckstop. Tonight I shall park at a truckstop in Houston, that should provide some entertainment.

Listening to the old school rap channel and doing air scratchin to Doug E Fresh and following that up with shadow boxing to LL's Mama Said Knock You Out provides several minutes of entertainment. Now I am watching a guy walk around his truck over and over. I guess he heard that 52 times around equals one mile. I say just walk down the road and back, circles around your truck is kind of funny looking. Not that me dancing around in my truck looks normal, but I don't look like I am speed walking away from ghosts.

I wonder if he would freak if I started walking behind him. I think he is done though, or he pulled a hammy on the other side of his truck.

I'm with Jester.. back in '94 I was in the backseat of a car going from Salt Lake City to the Grand Canyon, to Vail and then eventually back to Salt Lake City (from where we flew to SF).

Logic Puzzles helped me get through those hours in the car..

I have on kind of gold/tan/brownish jeans. Second time I have worn them. I still can't decide if they are gay or not. Jeans should be blue, but the wife talked me into them. They hug my ass too. I may get hit on by a good buddy while in these.

Yeah, the Sudoku is not bad. The crossword book was. I just grabbed one and didn't notice they were way beyond my level, i have no idea who 18th century italian composers are or any composers really. I wish I could find a book store I could park near. I have several books I want to read, but figured the last two i got would last me longer. I will stock up when I get home.

Nothing adds a little spice to the day like a sunday morning lot lizard. It was funny because she pulled up in a car right next to me and gets out and acts like she is looking for someone. I don't think she fooled anyone. After walking over to a couple trucks she goes back to her car then comes up to my door. I rolled down the window and she says something about needing gas money and could she use my radio. It took me about a minute of questions before she dropped the bullshit and finally said she'd do me for money. The out of gas line I have heard, the shy hooker routine was new and pretty funny though. Nasty lookin though, and at least a hard 40. She was probably a $10 whore though. I never asked though, damn.

Crap, i should have asked what she thought of my pants. Damn, i always think of the good stuff too late. Then i would have gotten out of the truck though, not my favorite thing to do, being that close to the nasty and sneaky.

Woohoo, my load is done and I am rolling. 6 hours of work is better then nothing. And I get to listen to the Packer game in two hours even, nice. And if the MLS Cup doesn't start too early I may get to hear the Dynamo defend thier title on local Houston radio. May not be a horrible day as long as my teams don't all lose.

Ok, but I really don't want to. How about I keep on truckin for 3 more weeks then stop? That is the plan I think. Could only last 2-3 months but we are going to give it a shot. Health insurance is the killer, it looks like it may end up costing us around $800-$900 a month. I almost gave up when I heard that, but if I am going to drive next year I don't want to drive with this company. Might as well see if we can make it work for a couple months, if not I sign on with a new company.
