All in all though, I thank the Eagles for punt return men for that victory. I was high as a kite when it was 10-0, but once it was 10-10, I had pretty much accepted that the Eagles would probably win because the Packers had NO offense at all. They kind of need to fix that problem if they wan to win some more games.

After week 1, the Bears are in last place with Green Bay, Minnesota, and it looks like the Lions, all in 1st place with 1-0 records. I didn't see that one coming.

Packers schedule could be trouble the rest of the month if they can't get some kind of offense. At the Giants next week, home against San Diego, then at the Vikes. Not fun. I will hope for 2-2.

I hate cell phones, Ipods, Iphones and all that garbage. but ya know what i really hate? I hate the fact that the networks spread about 10 minutes worth of highlites and analysis to like 3 hours.

Back in my day we got a 5 minute recap at the half and a 10 minute recap at 4. And once the late games were done we went right into little house on the prairie and we liked it. *grumble grumble grumble*

On Thursday Beans was nice enough to let me use his TV to watch Colts/Saints. At about 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter I turned off the TV and walked away thinking that I've somehow got to get the NFL out of my system as I probably can't take another season of advertisements. You know how they talk about a team "being in midseason form"? Well, I was in Super Bowl form for advertisements!! I spent 1/3 of the game thinking "I'm already aware of your product. I saw (and didn't react positively to) your ad last season. I want to watch football. I tune in for football. I only want to hear football. My interest is solely on football. Free football at that. See a connection?"

Each of the last two seasons I've had a life-determining decision on whether or not this is the last for me as an NFL fan and this season they seem to be doing their best to both maximize profits and make it my last.

Today is the first time that I honestly would've rathered an IFL win than an NFL win as the IFL is "purer" atm than the NFL's ever been.

For real, I don't know if it's the quicker clock or what but It's harder and harder for me to go from saturday with games chuggin along to sunday with molases like speed.

And yeah, not just the amount of commercials but the fact that it's the same fuckin commercials everytime!
