Franklin's assery came out of nowhere, it was like an avalanche. he used to be cool then went all born-again christian on FOFC and stopped doing his Ladies Man "in the butt" gimmick. he completely flipped.

AFI, and crap like that....not real emo. Calling that emo is like calling New Found Glory punk. Actually, calling AFI emo is like calling AFI punk, which was once done because they kind of fit that 90's mold of punk. THis was back in the day Green Day and Rancid became 'the face' of punk, atleast according to MTV. AFI was 'unknown' then though.

AFI is basically a commercial pop-rock band, who now dresses the way 14 year old girls will go crazy for. Although I will take them over that piece of crap My Chemical Romance any day.

I love AFI's latest CD. I would feel weird listening to it in my car though as I don't really fit the mold of the person who usually listens to their stuff. Do you want to see something funny?
