i really would like to know what's so racist about calling the people who do the brutal acts in this cnn.com article "animals":

yes, that's what i got boxed for. it's so funny that people were perfectly ok with what was going on in that article but found a problem with me calling them animals. africa is a very fucked up continent, between breast ironing of pre-pubescent girls, genital mutiliation and the artocities of the Sudan. fine, perhaps "animals" was a poor choice of words given that one racial slur for black people is "monkeys" - perhaps "savages" would have been more apropos, but the point is being missed here.

i like how everyone over at FOFC is trying to insinuate i posted some sick shit. God knows what they thought I posted to get boxed. i say if you're gonna box someone then let his posts stay - let the community decide if his boxing was justified. don't get all Secret Service and try to remove any and all traces of his "offending" posts, especially when the person elaborated on the purpose for the thread and tried to show he was being sincere. when you delete threads and be vague about what the offending posts were about you abuse your mod powers to slant the story however you want.

"FBI" tshirts were all over NYC back in the 80's/early 90's. that, and cutoff muscle shirts. i was so skinny as a kid my muscle shirt was essentially a regualr shirt for me.

and i bought these leather fingerless gloves when i went to Montreal one time, except i didn't know you only were supposed to wear one and i didn't ride a motorcycle or even a bike back then so i would use my black leather fingerless gloves as handball gloves.

i was all about the handball back then. all over the court.

anyway, the issue is i used a catch-all sentence when i started the thread, instead of clarifying myself and writing "the people who commit these acts are animals and/or savages and should be caged like animals" i created unneeded controversy by writing "the people of africa are animals. they should all be locked and caged like animals". when i get "internet" fired up semantics aren't a concern of mine. i'm more pissed cuz they're making it sound like i posted pornographic material and not the cnn.com article i wrote. it doesn't really bother me, it's only 2 weeks and boxings for me are an old bag, almost "been there, done that" you could say.


us three should start a website. it'd be funny. i saw some potential in suicane when he did that maximum football parody clip, chile. i listened to it twice, which is something i rarely do.

in other news, my friends and i were at the taping for that upcoming VH1 show "The World Series Of Pop Culture". it's gonna be a bad show. i'm a pop culture guru and i couldn't believe some of the questions that were missed. this show was so bad (and hosted by a guy with no personality/humor/charisma) that after the first several episodes were taped - they were filming several games on that one day - 75% of the audience got up and left. i remember laughing at one of the staff over there cuz one of them said to another staffer "where is our audience going???" LOL. that's how bad and not-fun this show is gonna be. my best friend wanted to stay for the whole thing cuz they were raffling off a 360. with all the people that left we probably coulda stayed and had a great chance to win it. wasn't worth it though.
