  • Question for the Owners -- Please chime in

I think this is complete Bull-crap, but I am not 100% sure. Maybe we all have the injury bug. This Vermont team has 11 injured players and 5 of those guys are on IR. It has only been 9 weeks. Am I the only team that is like this? Is the injury setting up to high? Please chime in Owners.

When doing the Power Rankings 2 in game weeks ago there were a lot of teams battling injuries. Around 6-8 players out for some teams and i can only assume it got worse.

Me personally I think it is about right where it should be. Forcing teams and owners to consider the Depth at a position before trading players and draft picks away. Also making room for some serious upsets.

The only issue that I see is that 3-4 teams have had to use their third string QB due to injury that might be slightly to much. I also have a player who has been out 4 weeks due to Depression so that sucks as well.

Vermont has 8 injured guys. 2 of which are bad injuries. 3 guys that aren't hurt on IR. 4 little 1 or 2 week injuries.

IFL and FFL are on the same setting. I know, because I sim them both and don't change settings in-between.

There are a handful of stadiums with average or fair turf. Get on their cases.

We have been relatively injury free. Thank god because we have no depth.

I think the setting is fairly realistic. the other thing to consider is Training Camp preparation and your strength/conditioning coach.

We lost our starting qb and backup during a week 5 homegame. Our turf is rated Average. Parking Lot conditions are poor. Investments are needed in the facilities.

Vermont also has a Strength Coach with poor Strength Training. Maybe 1 or 2 guys would've been back if it was higher.

You can go to the injury screen and flip through the teams. There are many with 2 or 3.

But it's clearly the league settings.

There are currently 156 players on the Injury List. That covers Minor injuries to Injured Reserve. That works out to 4.875 injuries per team. Worst fields in the league are Columbia, Little Rock, and Iowa City.

It sounds like the Thunder should spend more time piling on everyone else! With that terrible field it is bound to cause an injury or two to your opposition!

BTW, the Iowa City turf will improve as soon as the renovations are complete. I hate injuries and that's always one of my first moves when taking over a team (even a priority over seat expansion).
