Coach Wick stares blankly at his rookie kicker as time expires on a 9-6 loss. For a 2nd week in a row in sunny LA... it's pouring rain. This was one I hope we don't look back on as one that keeps us out of the playoffs that we should have won. We held Lansing to under 200 yards of offense. The defense was amazing. Offensively, we lost Barrett early on and the youngster Truitt stepped in. Well obviously we are going to run the ball more, right? No... Hanks only got 16 carries all day. Why? I have no clue, this is a run heavy offense... And our rookie missed 3 out of 5 FG attempts.

QB Toviessi enters the locker room right behind his coach.... a game where they lead in all major Offensive statistics he knows his 3 INTs in the second half cost the team the game. I have to do better he thought quietly...

An 0 - 2 start doesn't bode well for a return trip to the playoffs for Iowa City. I need to have a serious discussion with the schedule maker. Four consecutive road games, with the first 3 being playoff teams, doesn't seem quote fair.
