  • Week 11 discussion.

Alrighty, week 11 is done. Looks like evry division is now up for grabs almost.

Little Rock won, woohoo! Don't know the details yet though, need to check out the box score. I did check my roster for injuries and I think my depth chart may have been messed with by the computer, not too sure. Who the fuck do I complain to?

Shit, just starting to look at the Tulsa-Little Rock box score. The Toads got INTs off of Tulsa's offense their first 3 drives of the game. To bad we didn't get any points off of them.

Julian Cartagena has been upgraded to doubtful with 9 weeks to fully heal. This falls in play with my prediction that he will be available to play in Week 17 should I need him.

We win and Pittsburgh loses so we get our 3 game lead back on the division. The defense stepped up and played well again. Loving made no mistakes and played very well. We travel to Louisiana next week to battle the VooDoo. Should be a good game.

Mulcahy is out with a ruptured achilles tendon. So long, playoffs. So long, season. See you all next year.

I've learned something important, though. Spend all you can afford for a decent backup. I tried for Jaime Morris this offseason, but not nearly hard enough. MP is a different game.

I wouldn't count Rico Anderson out from making some plays for you and getting you some wins. I know he is far from Mulcahy, but look at what the rookies for Hartford, Anchorage, and Oakland are doing. None of them are all that better as far as current ratings.

                That is rough though.

Thanks Cringer. I won't give up until it's mathematically over, I don't know if it will be Anderson or a FA, but one thing is for sure: Peter Dole had his chance! Comparing Anderson with Gene Hamilton is pretty strong meat, though.

Great game Muffsboro, I was dead in the water at the end of the first half but my QB finaly woke up and decided to, ya know, complete some passes. Great ending, huge win for me but that really could of gone either way.

                      WEEK 11 OVERVIEW
                      1. Nice win for Albaquerque, finaly a tad of seperation between the top and bottom in the AFC West.

                      2. Madison rebounds nicely and does what it needed to do.

                      3. Norfolk ends Hartfords streak, but both teams are running out of time in that division.

                      4. Louisiana nuts up and beats Houston pretty easily to maintain pace with St. Louis.

                      5. It wasn't pretty or easy, but Cleveland came out strong in the 3rd quarter and got the job done against Iowa City.

                      6. Pittsburgh learned a lesson in humility at the hands of the Ogres, their playoff hopes are a candle in a rainstorm right now.

                      7. Huge wins for Orlando and Burlington, meanwhile Lawrence is now on shakey ground as a little bit of seperation ensues.

                      8. SLC continues to confuse while Oakland continues to upset.

                      9. Portland and Anchorage do what nobody thought was possible, make the AFC West even more of a clusterf**k.

                      10. Columbia and Little Rock seperate themselves slightly from Tulsa. Big ups to Columbia for getting the ship righted, but what about Cartagenas therapy bills?

                      WEEK 12 PREVIEW
                      1. Huge game between Anchorage and Little Rock next week, this is gonna be a fun one with alot on the line.

                      2. Cleveland AT Lawrence is another huge game, the loser will be on the cusp of playoff elimination.

                      3. Hartford has to fly across the country and go into Oakland, a big spoiler game for Oakland and Hartford needs to get back on track or that winning streak wont mean much of anything.

                      4. Madison AT Louisiana, Madison has the division sown up, Louisiana is still fighting, the Voodoo need to defend their turf.

                      5. Orland AT Wichita, 2 top teams squaring off, Orlando needs it more but Wichita is at home, should be a real good game.

                      6. Pittsburgh AT St. Louis, will Pitt suffer a letdown after a bad loss this week? Will St. Louis be able to step it up against a quality team?

                      7. Portland AT Tulsa, Not an elimination game, but close to one. The loser is .500 or worse and in pretty bad shape as far as the playoffs are concerned, it's almost a must win for both teams.

                      8. Reno AT Norfolk, Norfolk needs to win to stay above water while Reno has to come across the country and win to stay neck and neck with Vancouver.

                      9. Another quality East vs West, Conference vs Conferece matchup, this should be a very exciting game as both teams are fighting for a division title.

                              - Outgained Lansing 456-210
                              - Held them to 2.3 ypc and 3.4 yds/play
                              - Held them to 49 total yards in the second half

                              Lost 27-24. Why?

                              - Two fumbles, at my own 30 and 4, that led to TD's
                              - Let up a kick return for a TD
                              - Missed 26 yard FG
