Wichita is trying to survive the injury attacks at QB. Sounds familiar. We just lost our second QB this week. Still have a 2 game lead. Hope we can shake the injury and get Granger back on the field in a week or two.

I know the feeling... I outgain my opponent, hold them to 25% 3rd down conversions, while making 50% of my own, and get drilled by 15 points...

I had my 3rd WR get ejected for spearing (first time I have ever seen that happen!). Everytime I put a drive together I manage to get an unsportsmanlike conduct called (I outgained NFK in penalties 5/64 to 6/36!). My kicker misses a 47 yard FG SHORT when he has plenty of leg to get it there.

I just think the NFK punter deserved the game ball, not the QB. Heck, he kept me backed up all day averaging over 50 yards per punt!

It'll be fun as the guy who may act as a spoiler in my division. I have Burlington and Orlando at home.

Man what can I say? Taylor started off one of the highest rated QBs in the league. 3 interceptions in 8 games. But he has had 6 picks in the last 2, including 4 picks in our 5 loss in a row this week at Little Rock. Bah! We hoped the week off would give us a chance to start new, but no luck. Same old story: D great, O puts up lots of yards, but can't get in endzone. The only thing keeping us from being a strong playoff team is a star player who can get the TDs. That is a huge thing to be missing.

Congratulations Orlando on being the latest to make my offense look rediculous.

That is about as good as the Mules can play. Big plays evened out, pretty much. Cards only started 2 drives outside their own 20 all day. I thought the game MVP was correct. 1 stinking yard at the end of the half was truly the difference as the Mules left 4 points off the scoreboard in that 1 yard.

              good game.

edit: Haha, how ironic. The 2 best running backs in the league were at this game................neither played a single down!

Lawerence you have helped Orlando to begin to get their defense back on track. That was the confidence we needed. The Pirates are not used to playing with Hynes at QB either.

The two best running backs are who? I think Dewitt Flynn just grabbed the rushing yardage top spot after nearly 400 yards in two weeks.

Do I think he will keep it? No.

Do I think he is one of the best in the league? No.

What the hell, it is nice for Dewitt to equal his yardage from last year with 6 games still to go. Orlando is nipping at Burlington's heels for a shot at the the playoffs and a prayer for the division. Its all about pride this time of the year.

I think we outplayed Columbia but turnovers killed us and Brown being injured was really evident this week.Great game to Columbia and We're gonna shoot for spoiler this year.

                        LOL

You got to love the "I thought I outplayed them" gig after getting shut out 24-0.

I'm not sure how you draw that conclusion out of our game. Hell, maybe I've been outplayed my last four games, I dunno.

We'll,let me rephrase it.There is no doubt in my mind that Columbia is a better team than Texas(happy SOV ).We outgained Columbia in yards and we led in time of possesion,Our one problem in this game(albeit a major one)was we couldn't stop turning the ball over. What I was trying to say was if we had been able to hold onto the ball when it counted we could have had a shot at winning this game,it was NOT as lopsided as the score would suggest. That being said,we SUCK.

I think it's safe for me to assume that you didn't watch this game on the viewer, no?

Guys tend to look at total yardage too much. Noting that your QB (actually both since Chung was subbed out even though your team was outplaying mine) was chucking the ball for a large part of the game, you still had a lower yards per attempted pass. You also had a lower YPC, less sack yardage, more turnovers, more penalties and penalty yardage, a lower 3rd down conversion percentage, and worse starting field position. You only managed to accumulate a larger number of yards on a larger number of plays. You also held onto the ball longer (before coughing it up sometimes).

This game was over early in the 3rd quarter and I started doing laundry in the other room while the viewer was still running.

Please don't tell me that you outplayed me. It's somewhat insulting.

Sorry, but I also forgot to mention that you only got into my red zone once only to cough up the ball.
