IFL - Resuming Operations

If all financials are equal, why would it matter what the city name was changed to? I was thinking this myself as I thought about being realigned with the West by moving to Phoenix Arizona and become the Wolfpack again. Carolina Wolfpack just didn't work...sounded too much like NC State. in FOFL, I'm not sure what they did but none of the financials really mattered and even the city name's were a bit "fictional" (Smuggler's Cove, Cloud City, Dodge City, etc.)

Tarcone ruined that team. I've never seen a worse roster in my life. What I hate about multiplayer is how a guy will just leave when you decimate a roster and have a rebuild job ahead of them. Blah blah he didn't have time for FOF, I think having a shit roster made the decision for him. I'll say it again, trades need to be monitored more closely. Terrible...

we can modify the actual city name.
similar to what we did with Vancouver and Montreal at the start, and then London jlmore recently.

what the hell. if you guys want to move the teams, please send me a pm. let's try and keep geography in mind

Yeah I was planning on keeping the city appropriate for the division. I just though I might want to change it if it sounded better with whatever team name I chose. I could work with no city change too. Like I said, I'm down with whatever.

the one main reason it was approved was because it was agreed upon by 2 long time owners. tarcone basically said he wasn't going anywhere and this was the final piece of his puzzle. things didn't go as planned.

trust me when I tell you that both Suicane and I talked long and hard about this deal

Just wipe out the Warthogs crap now. New owner wants to go back to the original name chosen by the city's fans. Fresno Chaos. Would prefer to change the helmet colors but I can't find any of the old helmet stuff around...

Hey guys ...

Needed some time to get out of my funk and several things helped to do that:

1. Cringer coming back ... he recruited me as the original commish and it is good to see him back
2. Its been 10 + years in this league and I hate to throw that history away
3. Hated to see the team's roster posted in this thread (thanks Matt, that put me over the top)
4. and most of all the rest of you guys that have hanged in there during this rough patch.

So if the Vipers have not bee snapped up, I would humbly like to continue to be behind the scenes in Norfolk.
