Just thought of something. I've never done an allocation draft before. Is it snaking? If not it seems like it would kind of suck if you are one of the last 5 or so teams to pick.

I picked up the Newark Bulldogs as my first MP team back in 2004. I believe it was week 2 when I took control.

I believe Cringer did a snake draft for 10 or so rounds and scout picked the rest of the allocation draft.

Interesting. Not that it would deter me, but drafting at the bottom of every round would seem to be a big "challenge".

Actually, for one of my fantasy football leagues, we do a modified snake:

1. 1-12
2. 12-1
3. 12-1
4. 1-12
5. 12-1
6. 1-12
7. 1-12
8. 12-1
9. 12-1
10. 1-12
11. 1-12

14. 12-1
15. 12-1
16. 1-12

If you look statistically, it evens things out pretty well.

That sounds great to me. I'd like to help out with the stats site if possible, however if there is no more DBUpdater it may be beyond me.

I am looking at other options, as the game actually exports nice .csv files now. We can work on this collectivelly...as I am an IT guy.

I'm in week 3 of Preseason in FOF 7 (RNFL) and just got my ass handed to me in preseason---2nd week in a row my defense can't do squat and we're a high cohesion/affinity unit.

Going to Rex the next two weeks (although that has NEVER worked for me in 10 fucking years playing MP....that's right NEVER, everytime I've let rex call the shots I've gotten 40+ dropped on me and I suspect this is going to be no diff.

Sounds great - between your expertise and what Matt said Ben is doing with DBupdater (hopefully he makes it public) we should be in good shape.
