Phantoms 9-2 on auto-pilot. This season might be the Swan Song...

warning: Rant on/ This comment irritates the snot out of me. Nothing personal but, I'm busting my butt trying to figure out how to get this team to the playoffs and win it all and you don't have to even check in?. I've brought my cohesion up, I have better affinity than any team out there. I have built through the draft for the long term.

Yes...I'm missing big-time receivers. Is that it??? Rant off/

I have two words for this season: Detroit Lions...huge disappointment if we end up sitting at home when the playoffs begin.

                  argot,

basically, once the season starts, you don't need to change so much. you can make tweaks to gameplans, but mostly you could easily get away with just setting the same gp's every week without changing anything and still be successful. I've definitely done it in other leagues.

After giving myself some space, I meant no disrespect to Jester, hope it didn't come off like that. I like him. Just frustrated is all. And not sure what, if anything I might be doing wrong. Jester and others, please feel free to pm me if you see something I might be missing. Besides...the lack of talent at Wideout. And there has been next to nothing in the draft for the past 5 years that I've seen. Again..prolly missed something.

Well, I knew this game was a loss before it started. Without the surprising emergence of Reiter these last few games, my offense was a joke.

We were able to keep up with Lawrence and had nearly identical passing and rushing yards (and score) to open the 4th, but that's when he pulled away and our lack of weapons became glaringly obvious.

As for Argot, depth at the receiving position is huge. You don't need studs, but your best receiver isn't as good as Lawrence's fourth. I lost a solid 2nd WR this off-season and my passing game sunk. I tried to do it with 1 stud and a bunch of shitbums, but you need the solid guys to throw to when your #1 is covered.

It's all well and great if you have a guy who can put up 900+ yards, but when it's 3rd down and you are forced to throw it to some guy with a 20 rating, more often than not you're punting next.

I know this because I have fantastic cohesion and honestly haven't touched my gameplan in like 3 seasons. Last season I had depth, and Surratt put up a 111 rating. This season I have just a stud, and I'm looking at 11 TD's to 9 picks for a rating near 80.

Hopefully next expansion will be a bit different.

Hey ARGOT your 7-4. I actually thought the Voodoo could go 8-8 but are standing at 1-10. So wanna trade teams?

Keep in mind until a few weeks ago and some injuries to starting line the Voodoo was 4th in scoring in the conference [still 8th] with a FA wavier wire QB and is at +5 in turnovers. I saw the post about the coaching and have to agree at this point, because game planning sees to have no effect on outcome or for that matter is it is used at all. I have no idea at this point were some of the calls are coming from because they aren't set up in the game plan as such. I do know this will have different coaches next year, even if they have zero ratings in all categories. Bring on the new game!!!!!

Just checked in now. Nothing personal taken.

I think there's luck involved right now for me. Plus a good base from when I was paying much attention at all times.

I'm not of the belief of leaving the same gameplan all season. But your own roster, schedules, injuries, cohesion... all come into play.

I couldn't tell you what you're doing "wrong". Could be nothing but plain bad luck. If I saw every screen of yours and heard every angle of what you're basing your gameplan on then I might be able to offer something... or I could have an entirely different POV without discrediting yours.

From what I read last month you're gonna be on easy street come conversion to FOF7 though.
