weird that the AI took over at some point (although I'm set to 60 for defensive adj).

I have ZERO man-to-man in this scheme and ZERO pass aggro on 3rd & 2 and yet my coach (whom is excellent at defensive play-calling) calls man coverage(???) AND pass aggro on 3rd and 2 and we surrender the score that broke the game...

not complaining--just wonder how that happened when the call shouldn't have been in his hands

I guess the engine had already decided we'd lose and delivered in kind?

GG Tim. Man, DE Darren Wallace is a freaking beast. Is he the best DE to ever play in the IFL? I'd say so. He flat out dominates. 2 sacks, 1 block, 5 hurries, 9 knocks in this one. Look at his stat line for the season. He makes this defense.

I'm sure you are not the only one who thinks at times the computer decides before the game who should win and then just plays it our accordingly.

GG Pirates. I knew this looked like a trip up game even with the QB out. We tend to make backups look like MVP's. I was frustrated with this game. Orlando practically handed the game to us in the first quarter and we only came away with 8 points. FG's in the Redzone continue to be my pet peeve.

When FOF forum was not blocked from work, I guess they are on a porn server or something, I read that a bunch.

From a game design perspective it would just be totally difficult to start with a desired result and make the game do that. It would be much easier to just have a game engine do its thing.


now I for one think the coaches have way more to do with it than most believe. I mean I would give every dice roll some +/- depending on how the coaches match up. Even a little there would be huge over the course of a game or season

GG to you too. We are just not the same. I think we had a window to win and we are now feeling the effects of an aging roster. I am surprised Nixon got less carries then are frickin' QB. That is just odd. Why did the QB run the ball 12 times? I have no clue. Either way I think we will really struggle until Wilkins comes back and by then we may be cooked.

GG Cleveland. Boy this season sure hasn’t gone the way I thought it would. I thought 8-8 was very reachable. I agree about the coaches, sure doesn’t seem like game planning is having much effect on outcome. I don’t even have some of the formations called in games in my game plan??? Oh well, looking forward to the new game.
