Yeah. I can see the attraction to "FOF 7" but the reality despite Jim's (or anyone else's) testing is that Beta 7 will be released before FOF 7.

Just something to think about: I'm not planning on buying FOF 7 if/until the game itself moves me to. If there's a quick switch over to the new game for the IFL will there be an allotted waiting period for GMs to keep control of their team?

I figure there's a 99% chance that I'll be getting FOF 7 but beforehand I'll be running some tests, #1 of which will be loading up a team with all BPR WRs vs a team of "defensive studs" and running that through the wringer a hundred times or so to see if defense can hold it's own. I'm also expecting/needing a LOT more involvement and contrast in styles by the QB position.

there will be downtime between games as our files get processed to the new version. I think it took 5-7 days last time.

Not to stir up antagonism but: Based on the prior release the game will still be clearly unbalanced 6 years after release. We're talking 6x worse than anything EA has ever touched.

I think you were half in the bag. to say that EA has a better product than this game as far as a simulation is borderline insane!!!
