Regarding Elimination of MidWeek sims

You'll notice that I have eliminated midweek's. We are probably the only league left that was doing them. what I'm going to suggest is that if someone recommends a midweek, I will do one. If there is roster juggling that is required, you can let me know in a PM, and I can make sure it gets done. i.e. signed WR. can you place him in the FL2 spot.

For me, it's easier to not do them because it saves me time that I need to be at the computer. The initial requirement for midweek's stemmed from FOF2k4 when the roster requirements were very strict.

If someone feels that they need a midweek, I will do one. It will not be at a specific time, but within a window of time.

If you need depth chart changes to be made by the commish, just PM Ben. Know that he will not read or respond to the PM until in the moments immediately before running the sim. If you feel the need to pick up more players than you need just to make sure enough sign, feel free to do so. In other words, if you have only 3 active wide receivers, you need another one. You might send instructions like this:

Skanky Ho Whichever one that I sign that is highest on this list, please insert him into the lineup as the backup split end, and release any of the others. 1. Please only ask to make these changes in the case of it being 100% necessary to make your roster legal. Let's not get into asking the commish to replace one scrub with another when the first scrub is healthy. Build your roster during the offseason, not during the season.
2. Unless specifically requested, trades will be run before games are simmed. Plan for it.
3. Remember that any player you sign as a FA comes on your roster active by default. If you're signing a guy and wanting to ask the commish to make him inactive, you shouldn't be asking the commish. See #1 above. If he's going to be made inactive, then he's not critical to getting you legal.
4. If you're asking the commish to insert a player into the depth chart, please be clear about where he is supposed to be inserted. For example, don't say "backup guard." Say "backup right guard."

What if a said trade happens and one of the key players of that trade is injured while still playing for their old team? Does that trade then get voided? Or once it is agreed upon its writen in stone?

I would hope that if you're trading a player, between yourself and the partner you're trading with, you have a good understanding of eachothers expectations. If i was trading a player, i would make the player inactive.

Well I made a trade in the preseason and didnt know that the trade would be entered in afterwards and the player from a backup posistion got playing time. no injury so no harm no foul but I didnt know.
