I looked last night and I thought i saw that london was averaging 369 pass yds a game. eek. I know i helped contribute to that number. It will be intersting to see if that type of offense can win in the playoffs

GG Tulsa. Never thought we would beat you guys. Wilkins was solid and played within the game plan. That was nice to see for a change. Got a great game from Nixon on the ground and the D is playing solid waiting for old Winfred Reilly's return at the end of the season. If we are lucky. Looking forward to the bye with an unexpected 4-1 start.

Damn, even when Surratt throws 5 TD's, he is shown up by someone else. I thought for sure he was potw, but every 'dogs' has their day.

GG Chicago. It was a massacre, but we're hungry.

                  VOODOO CHILLEN

Holy Cow the Voodoo pitched a shutout! [GG WV]. In case you haven’t noticed and judging by the attendance you haven’t. The Voodoo are 3-2 and only allowed 69 points so far this season. Maybe these guys aren’t so bad after all. In the WV game the witchdoctors held QB Van Verth to a 16.4 rating and only gave up 152 total yards. A big improvement from last year’s spread hooker defense we ran.

In looking at the standings it appears that there are some surprising developments so far. London is off to a 5-0 surprising the IFL start. While I think LA, Fresno, Norfolk and WV are surprising all going the other way. LA is really surprising to me I thought they might have been the team to beat in the AC West.

The AC South is a log jam at the moment but I still think Houston is the class of the division with the Mules hot on their heels. While the early results have been fun to see and some light being seen at the end of the tunnel for the Witchdoctors and their losing ways. Reality tells me we still have a long way to go to becoming a contender. Losing my little stud DT Herb [avore} Vega for a couple of weeks is going to be an issue.

agreed that 3 point Mule W in week 1 is looking like a quality win.

nice nickname, but I still prefer Damn VooDoo! - lol

Coder seems to have an extremely hit hard or miss gameplanning tendency.
If you look at the 4th quarter log of our game, we got some awful dice rolls. 2 fumble recoveries by Vermont, INT, a 59 yard kick return etc. Don't know how to gameplan against that crap. This is two weeks in a row that we've lost late and that's frustrating.

Or how about this end of game logic:

Vermont: Single-Back formation with two tight ends, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, expecting the run.
1-10-VER32 (4Q: 00:34) R.J. Williamson pass fell incomplete, intended for WR Cary Kelley. DE Harris Chamberlin hurried the quarterback into a bad throw.
Vermont: Pro formation, with the second receiver in the slot, strength is left. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 3-deep zone coverage, expecting the pass.
2-10-VER32 (4Q: 00:28) R.J. Williamson pass completed to WR Darrell Bauer for 11 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by ILB Phil Pinkston, assisted by CB Howie Oxarart. Bauer gained 2 yards after the catch.
Vermont: I formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, expecting the pass. Pinkston is blitzing.
1-10-VER43 (4Q: 00:21) R.J. Williamson pass completed to WR Bennie Kramer for 36 yards. [Tackled by ILB Rusty Brock. Kramer gained 20 yards after the catch.
                        (4Q: 00:21) Vermont called a time out.
                        1-10-GEO21 (4Q: 00:12) Joey Ring attempted a 38 yard field goal and succeeded. Vermont 38, Georgia 35
Why the F are we not aggressively expecting the pass? Why are we in BNR? Stupid.

That's quite a difference from last year's 138 yds per game rushing.
