It was many moons ago, probably on a link like you've offered today directing to FOFC. The conversation was about there being no double coverage in the game logs on run plays. I've never even known if these "game logs" are the something I can access via FOF or another of the gstelmack utility apps.

Yes, I remember this as well. They figured out that defenses don't double cover when they're expecting runs. You'll notice it when you're watching the game in Solevision. You never see the "QB threw away from/into double coverage" when the defense is expecting a run or playing run aggressive.Originally posted by JesterBlaze View PostIt was many moons ago, probably on a link like you've offered today directing to FOFC. Just did a quick check on a single game log and that appears to be correct, but Jim also stated in the links from Matt that the logs/Solovision aren't completely accurate as to what the engine is doing.

That 1st link from Matt starts very interesting. Not sure how it ends yet but if a GMs got the time it looks worth the read.
EDIT: Still reading many hours later. Good stuff and interesting enough they are touching on some of the topics I've already brought up the past few days.Last edited by JesterBlaze; 03-14-2013, 04:13 PM.

Can an FOFC vet provide me with info on why the prevailing thought process is that the 1st dialog box focuses on top WR (or other) and the 2nd only deals with the leftovers of the 1st? I'm inclined to believe that they both are accurate %'s and it's more a matter of not enough defenders (blitzes) to DC both WRs or something.

I never put Andrews in the slot. And never have. I always look for that G to VG 3rd WR for that (Rhinehart). If you can get the 3 good WRs, it doesnt matter who is in the slot.
One reason Rhinehart is still on my team despite losing ratings and being ancient is his slot ability, and his cohesion with Sanford, which makes him even better.IFL Champions-- 2016

Gonna be real hard from now on out to get a 3rd G to VG WR on the same team I'd think though I'm personally not moved greatly by WR rush.
