I'm told the game's contract requests are based on the cap so stopping it from growing just stops players from asking for more. I'm guessing that's why the "lower cap" is programmed in as lost cap room for each team.
GGill, good to hear from a newer voice. Glad to have you participating in the league talks!! Regarding the speed of the off-season, we discuss it every now and then and it's either go fast or fall back to only 2 or so FOF seasons per real life year so while the league is a "slow paced league", the off-seasons move fast in order to keep the IFL's history moving at a reasonable pace. And only a few of us (I'm here!
