Looks like Vancouver, Tulsa and Georgia are tied at 11-4 for the last bye. I wonder what the implications are there if Vancouver and Tulsa or Georgia finish 12-4?

On to Tulsa for the division.
If VAN finishes 12-4, I believe they get the bye due to conference record.
They need to lose. Although I do have head to head over VAN. So maybe we would get it if we win.

Im rooting for us and Oakland.

Man, we needed this game bad too! Defense kept us in it the whole game while the offense decided to turn the ball over 6 times. Ugh!

        GG Ken,
That last drive was slow motion agony.
Congrats on giving the Wichita fans what they wanted in the Outlaws last ever home game.
        Glad to be outta there.

Oh, and congrats to Brando for taking the division.
That was a fine win over the Killer Whales.

Getting out of that hell hole in Oakland was the best thing I ever did.

            Hey DG...hows your year going?

Well make up your mind. Did I destroy the team, or simply was handed the keys and went on cruise control?

We know one things for sure. Since you took over Dakota, they have sucked ass balls since. At least your consistent?

Warthogs just cant win. Still a game and a season at that point - at least BuddaKing gets his way!

rock hit the ground 4 times and Ogres landed on it each time.
The inconsistency in Lansing continues, and we win. Just a moral victory, as our playoff hopes were crushed a few weeks ago.

Hartford was the beneficiary of the end of both halves: time expiring at half-time as the Phantoms nab an INT at the Whaler 9 yard line, and a 20 yard TD pass from Amos to send the game into OT being called back due to holding to all but seal the Hartford win. Great victory, kkiley!

Phantoms are simply not a great team without our "Propane".

Thank you, we got some good luck this year. This was the fourth game we won by two points or less. Honestly, if Ouelette hadn't been hurt for those few games early in the year, the result would have been quite different.

GG, Vancouver. Looking down the stat sheet, it was almost identical. We had 62 plays for 415 yards, you had 61 for 405, same penalty yardage, both lost two fumbles, etc. It was a total coin flip game and we were fortunate to stop you on that two point conversion and pull it out on the road. Good luck in the playoffs.

Its hard having shitty seasons in a row for a few seasons. Nice to be in a playoff hunt once again. If we lose, we lose but its better then being eliminated by week 8 lol.

Our offense is garbage and we have never been sucky enough to pick very high and grab some of those offensive studs so defense was the way we had to go. It makes us competitive but until I get some weapons on offense we will never get to the upper echelon of the league.

I've found that when you get close to having the pieces in place and you just need a few more, you have no choice but to pay through the nose in trades to acquire that talent. Drafting them is hard because you're relegated to hoping for a big draft boom. Better to trade those picks for an established player that fits your system. That's what I did with my teams and it seems to have kept is competitive.
