Fresno traded FGs with TDs, still take the lead with like 6 mins left in the 4th - Despite Lions dropping bombs at will - when Schwartz gets picked inside Warthogs own redzone attempting comeback1. The ineviatable quick TD makes it an 8 point game but gives Warthogs comeback chance 2 but ball goes over on downs. Lions miss the FG and Fresno gets comeback chance 3 with just under a minute but only make it too the Lion 30

    Cant swap FGs for TD.

Games like this one PO me about this game. Penn didnt even get in an export yet defended 8 passes, main difference in the game. Havent had that many passes defensed in quite a long time.

Win the game, lose the veteran tight end to compound fracture for 36 weeks.

It's been like that with this club for as long as I can remember.

      GG Fargo.

GG Murf. We played a solid all around game. The defense held up nicely, and the offense got over their slump. Troutman tossed four TDs and the run game did just enough.

Damn, Tulsa won a close one. The last thing I want to here is from Tarc is, Tulsa has now won ______ division titles in a row.

CHI's defense is very tough. Kept the Crusaders in it until the very end. GG.

Well I guess GG to Tulsa despite the ending being total BULLSHIT! Louisiana up 30-17 with just over 2 minutes to play and we get the following.

            25 yard pass interference
14 yard pass reception into double coverage
            25 yard TD PASS
            30-24 WITH 1:59 TO PLAY
3 straight runs netting ZERO yards! Deep punt putting Tulsa deep in their end.
40 yard pass reception with defense playing only pass thrown into double coverage.
26 yard pass repeat into double coverage for game winning TD.
Not saying it hasn’t happened before or impossible but very highly questionable on how this ended.

As the season winds down have seen a lot of things not seen in single player game and have to admit have become very disappointed in this game. Sure does seem like the game engine doesn’t take into account the game situations when calling plays. If they don’t do an update to this game ASAP I don’t see me hanging around too long with it. Very frustrating to spend time working on a game plan just to have a game engine consistently fuck it up. I count three loses this year to just BS from the ME.

Good thing I’m a Northwestern fan! You get used to losing games like this!

              I feel your pain

some of the owners have the game figured out. The rest of us have no chance.

Add in the unbalanced financials, which I think is a big part because the richer teams have the best coaches.

I am not pleased with it but I decided not to let it PO me, well at least not for long - lol

                Aww crap!
What a frustrating way to lose a huge televised game.
I feel like the week 14 Houston Texans...or maybe the butt fumble version of the Jets.

I knew things weren't gonna go well when Dogs threw an early pick six and we fumbled the resultant KO.
Couple plays later and we were down 14 - 0 just like that.

That set the tone all game as Wichita fumbled 3 times, threw 2 picks and we allowed a 103yd KO TD to boot.
                Miserable.
One of those road games when nothing goes your way.

Strange to say after shipping 52pts, other than our sloppy ball protection, I was really very happy with how my guys played and if we'd looked after the ball I really think we might have snuck out with a win.

All ifs, buts and maybes though.
Turnovers are part of the game and the Killer Whales played well and safeguarded the ball. We didn't and paid the price.

                GG Markc,
Can I put in a request you play the Clawz equally well?

Cleveland come to visit Wichita next week in a game that we have to win.
I'm actually feeling confident in my team.
                Bring on the Clawz!

GG I forgot to get any GP in... doh! But you had a deserved win not sure my gameplanning would have made any difference.

Try last week! Very similar ending to the VAN-TUL game. The game engine sometimes has a a very strong home team comeback routine that kicks in. I'm not sure what controls when/degree it happens - maybe coaching/cohesion plays a part. But couple that "feature" with Tulsa's offensive weaponry and you can get those type of results! I doubt (don't know for sure) that gameplanning influences this effect much at all.
Anyway, I don't consider anything less than a 3 score lead to be safe on the road with a few minutes left.

Frustrating i know, but I've had some pretty good "lucK" at the end of games too - so I guess it tends to balance out...

Our run defense is terrible. We need linebacker help. Probably shouldn't say that considering I sense I am getting a triple dose of runs against teams lately.

May is getting sacked too much. I have concerns here. We've got a great offensive line and his sense rush is pretty good. Maybe my WR's need better route running and aren't getting open.

                      I don't know...just frustrating.

On a seperate note LOUISIANA WAS HOSED!!!!!, but then again...You have two playoff games that never should have happened last week. Baltimore never should have been able to send that game to overtime and Seattle never should have been able to come back against Atlanta. But then again...Seattle never should have allowed Atlanta to come back and kick a FG to win.

GG Wichita. I got all the breaks in this one - including a INT for a TD and a 103 yd kick return! I agree, other than the turnovers your team played well enough to win. We need to keep winning to keep pace in the playoff seeding, so we'll definitely be giving our best against the Clawz. GL with your playoff drive.

You played better than us offensively but like you said you weren't able to get the 6 points.

Don't put too much weight on the fact I didn't export for this one. I'm not changing my gameplan a lot from game to game. I have a system I believe in and I follow it most of the time. It's very efficient against the pass. I normally get a better personnel to take care of the run.

Anyway, good game Kobeck and good luck the rest of the way.

Now I think we need to win out to get in the playoffs. The only way we can get in is by taking the division and it's not gonna be easy.

Guys, the ones who figured the game out will share everything they know about the game. I'm asking for advice all the time and everyone is happy to share their knowledge.

I know what you mean about the game not being perfect. There's several flaws but for me, when I have games like that, I'm just walking away from the computer and forget about the game for a couple of days. I'm in these FOF leagues for camaraderie and competion with guys who became friends with time.

The game is flawed in many ways but we're all trying to work with the same flaws and anybody can have access to the informations around to get better.

I think I'm far of that elite FOF GM group, but I got a lot of infos from them so if anyone need help or need to have more information about a subject in particular, I'd be happy to share what I know.

Tulsa's Matt Stanford now has the All-Time lead in 4th Quarter Comebacks. He got his 33rd this week to pass ex-Phantom Tobias Stanfield's 32.

I've had bad red-zone defense since the dawn of FOF time. Sometimes I have good/bad/great overall defense, but never worth a poop in the red zone. I think there's a basic FOF difference, or maybe even a real life set of data, that I'm missing or misinterpreting. Any info on the subject would be nice to hear. Thanks, Cy.

FWIW - My "suckness" goes around the board: scoring, pass yards/attempt, rush yards/attempt, pass completion, etc... and like I said is consistent every season.
