Wow! what a great game against Lansing. We were able to get a KR TD from Doyle to essentially seal the win for us.
Very happy with this quality win.

                    GG KKiley,
We really missed Ouellette and couldn't stop Johnstone's pass attack despite being in the correct defense.
A frustrating way to lose but at least other results in our division mean we stay on top.

Also, the heart of our defense MLB Tommy Bean recovers from his injury quicker than expected and should be good to go next week.
Hopefully, Ouellette is seeing the same doc.

Win. Offense didn't lose this one, Defense did enough to keep us in the game.

I'm still surprised that we won even with Ouellette out. Your defense is strong. I could not run the ball. A win's a win and I'll take it. I'm guessing if your QB was in there the scores would have been flipped.

Leading the division Hopefully we'll win ten games again and still miss the playoffs. :loser:

Carolina gave us a beat down today. We blitzed way too much and Wesley May made us pay. Carolina picked up the blitz well, we had no sacks and just two hurries for as much as we blitzed. Carolina offensive line is pretty good at pass protection and May has ice water in his veins.

We will get back to playing defense the way we did the first two games. This gameplan will go in the trash. I knew he was gonna throw the ball and gameplanned to stop it so this is a little disappointing. Hats off to Carolina, you got a good young QB on your hands.

Offense blew ass! Losing our starting RB hurt early but I don't think that played much of a factor. We couldn't get anything going at all on offense. If you jump on us early like Carolina did its too hard for this offense to get going.

                          Travel to Tulsa next week...

Close game today in West Virginia. They did a phenomenal job shutting down Denning which made our offense struggle quite a bit. Negrete came through with a huge pick 6 which allowed us to win.

Terrible playcalling in the last 3 minutes of the 4th allowed WV plenty of time to march down and tie the game, but our defense held strong in OT which allowed us to squeak out a win versus a very tough team in their stadium.

And holy shit, what did propane do this off-season? 554 yards after 3 games has to set a record, or close to it, right?
