I was pretty happy with the game against Houston. Went for it on 4th and 4 just before 4 quarter two minute warning down by 7 and didn’t get it. Louisiana held their own with Houston in the game. A few bad things and a few good things, but Houston was the better team. I gotta say playing against rl people is a lot better than playing with yourself!

GG Argot. You took it to us from the beginning and almost held on. Your new CB looks like the real deal, and May made our CBs look silly. This could be interesting...

In hindsight my remark seems to have been one-sided. I'm surprised at the Phashion that r00k lost to open what I thought would/will be a great Norfolk rebound season... but shouldn't have stopped short or seeing what the 2023 Whalers were about.

            Congrats on your victory!!!

VERY exciting what you've got going on over in LOU, GGill... I think the whole AC South - outside of MUR who is having a down cycle despite great long term GMing - is on the upside right now and that division is a dog-fight!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!! Total breakdown in our secondary...

That's why we took the damn field. Now if you want to crown them, then crown their axx! But they are who we thought they were! And we let 'em off the hook!

Poor decision starting the vet. just went on a hunch and it didn't work out. oh well. Travis showed it's his team however. I'm hopeful we can do better the next time we meet.

Travis Kennedy is the Phuture of the Bulldogs AND the IFL. Glad you misplayed this one, Matt. It's going to be tough going Phorward...

A win against a division rival is good, but losing Robbins for the year hurt. 2nd team OLB with 90 tackles, 6 sacks and 4 picks won't be easily replicated.

Offense looked very rusty early on, but was able to break out of it. Defense came through with some key stops despite Sullivan having a very solid game, especially in the first 2-3 quarters where his completion % was very high.

Team needs to work on their discipline as two kickoff offsides in one game is two too many, especially since one nullified an opening kickoff turnover that would have given us the ball on their 26.

I'll take the win but we have plenty to work on in the short week against a very tough team in Tulsa.

GG Lou, see you on week 11.

Strange decision on that move in a very competitive division. Hopefully that one loss doesn't come back to bite you at the end of the season.

                          Thanks Matt

WOW Fresno and Schwartz got a road W

that scrubb HC took 3 off the board, but the drive stalled. Luckily Oskenberg got the 3 back on the board. At the end Warthogs sustained a couple of more drives making the Matadores needing a TD on the last drive. LA was just short.

Not sure if Fresno/LA are at the top of the AFCW but there is not much seperating the two.

I'm happy you did start him.. but most of all, I'm happy to see that yes, I'm just one good QB away from a good team. Can't believe what a difference Donovan makes on my team as compared to Williamson. Even though I ran the ball quite a bit, it's as if his presence alone calmed the team down (I noticed this during the pre-season as well).

Love my divisional games though.. everyone is a highlight of the season, no matter the score.

Well, we forgot to export against Pennsylvania for week one, and figured we would get killed.

                                Inactive for the game were:
Stud players QB Bryant Bruce, #1 RB, #1 WR, #1 LDE.

We win 23-20? Wow. What a way to start the season against the division favorites.

                                GG Cy.
