All my DTs are NTs for that purpose (43/34 options) easier to just plug them and go when you switch.

I was hooked on the 3-4 when Kollars was dominating for a few seasons. I just prefer this defense now because not many ppl run it and it leaves a whole pool of certain guys available for me to acquire where others will look for other positions.

We brought in Dustin Edwards from LRK to play the weakside with his freakish sack totals. That is McCarthy's spot but he will move around between the Sam and Will this year. Just wanted to see what both of these guys could do together on the field at the same time. Should be interesting!

Only reason I passed on him was I have "The Edge" at WLB and a development rusher on the bench.

Good thing I did as that allowed me to overpa---err "score" that SS in Late FA
hoping we don't stink on defense again...

I gave up a lot of YPC but the defense was very solid and the opposing QBs had low completion % because he was always being pressure. Would be interesting to see a stud ILB pass rusher with a couple of stud OLB pass rushers attack the QB like this.
I *was* thinking SILB and WLB rushing while the other 2 played defense, at least for now. The first PS test game went ridiculously awful so I've nothing to do but wait and get more data from game 2 at this point.

Absolutely absentminded for anyone with $$$ to not have bid on the leagues leader (?) in sacks last season. BOSS FTW!

After 3 pre-season games I'm not impressed with my data. Not to say I've had bad results, just not impressed - and confused - by my current data.

I've set every situation to blitz at 34%, and my SILB to blitz at 86% (2% for every other position) for an extreme data collection, yet I've rarely witnessed blitzes involving my SILB.

I've been running the 3-4 for the last several years. Gonna try to blitz more this year since we finally got the players at silb and slb.

I've been thinking that same thing. I always thought you would get the same results as a Pittsburgh or Philly old D back when they had Dawkins. I've always been about 40-50% blitz mode so I might have to get real aggro some times hahaha

NFL average is around 20%. You're already pretty aggressive.

Hahahaha...always an expert on here. I could care less what the nfl avg is. I should of said my settings in "fof" on 3rd down and pass/aggr are usually set between 30-40. I think last year I went real conservative like around 25.

Jester, just stick with the 4-3. You won a championship with what you got so just be happy. Hahaha besides it just a rng game at that. Sometimes its all over the place so its not even a good one at that. Nothing to over-analyze on here from what I have gathered. Just build a team the way you like it and hope the dice rolls fall your way...
