This will probably be my last time to play against Wesley May when he's under 75 OVR. I don't like to think what Argot's offense will be like next year with a pair of good WRs or perhaps a good RB. I hope we get Reno early on the schedule next year.

Well, we got the bye and eliminated our division rival from the playoffs. I thought it would be closer but we really played well in this one. I'm taking it because it could be harder in the near future to beat Lansing with that QB fully developped.

First of all GG Jester. It really came down to the wire.

We got a whole zoo of monkey's off our backs with that game.

a- First time in the playoffs since 2005
b- First winning record since 2005
c- Swept Lawerence!!
d- Best rushing performance in a season since 2009
e- First 1000+ yard rushing performance since old man Wesley Connell played

Two things that really stood out for the Pirates.

I thought we missed big back when Jester took Humphries right before us in the draft. We were able to get Nixon a year later and he thumbed his nose at Humphries this season and in this game with 139 yard day for 8.39 yards a carry.

Secondly, Winfred Reilly is truly amazing. I don't know what we would do without him. He finishes as the 7th leading tackler with two missed games and wins the game for us in OT agains Lawerence with a 71 yard pick six. Who thought a 6'4" 267 lbs MLB could run like that?

Can't believe we snuck in this year and I hope we can put up another miracle game come Sunday!!

Woo hoo. What a great day. We win in OT and Brick was instrumental. Took heat of Rhinehart. Brick had a 90 yard KR TD. 1 catch for 41 yards.

Singleton dies after a 25 yard gain in the 1st quarter. It wasnt his knee. It was a ruptured adducter muscle.

Georgia loses.

We win the division for the 9th straight year. Amazing.

Now I have all offseason to figure out why such a highly rated passer with good cohesion seems to always have a 30% completion rating throughout most of the games this year... even against scrubs

An AC championship game match up would be the way I'd like to go out. Good luck in the playoffs.

Phew!
That was a close one but what a victory.

Sure,we had a little long overdue luck with the late unsportsman like penalty but we felt we deserved the win overall.

After all, Ouellette threw a pick in our own half which turned into a Montreal TD and we also missed a FG and coughed up a fumble in the Firebirds half.
Wichita had the ball for 37mins and converted over half of our 3rd downs.
We go into the playoffs on merit.

Didn't like losing in OT yet if I knew I had the tie-breaker against VAN then I would've sat a lot of starters so I'm lucky there.

Great game, Kurt, though I can't understand how after 20 seasons you've forgotten how to spell "Lawrence"! THREE NC East Teams in the Post-Season!!

Tulsa ends up the last NC South team standing again... amazing!
