You dont want the real BOSS on here. You would kick me out lol :shock:Originally posted by CringerYeah I know what you mean, just fuckin' around man. Loosen up BOSS, you seem so damn serious on these boards.... :POriginally posted by BOSSYou know what i mean. Momentum changer right there for my team. That play got us right back in the ballgame. If we would have made a mistake at all down there on the 7 yard line that could have been the ballgame. It was a HUGE play for the Demons!
Just joking...Im not being serious, im having fun and enjoying this league. Glad i joined. I like the once a week game. The slower pace of this league is so much better. More realistic and the immersion is so much better here. Im gonna try to start doing my part on that in the future.2003,2004,2007,2008,2010,2013,2024,2025,2031,2037, 2038 and 2039 NC North Division Champions, 2012 and 2017 Wild Card

I still believe that the key to a good O is the O-Line. I think I have that. I also have a damn good runner. My SP experience tells me that decent QB/WRs are sufficient to get the ball moving. I havn't had much luck yet, but a couple of my O-linemen are still developing, and my QB is still very young.Originally posted by CringerDon't know about the theory of your o-line making your QB better, I guess in some ways maybe. But damn good receivers sure will do it.....
I may end up looking for a new QB this offseason. One that is a little better at avoiding ints, and better at screen passes. It just wasn't a priority this off season. Well, it wasn't a very high priority. My D-line needed my full attantion. A lot of good that did for me.
I think I need to do a better job of game planning to my O's strengths. I've been more or less just concentrating on my opponents weaknesses. That may be my problem.2005 AC North Division Champions

Good game WV, i was clearly outgameplanned and with the talent differential i'm surprised i was able to come back. It's games like this against good teams that I need to start winning in order to be the serious contender I think i can be.I luv British womenz.

My D should not be this good. I am leading the league in points against and total yards allowed. I expected my offense (especially my passing game) to carry me this season. Now part of (my low passing yards) is gameplanning, I mean I looked at Oakland's run D and salivated and went out trying to run the ball as much as possible, but still we aren't even getting 200 per game through the air and I was hoping for a 4000 yard season through the air. But hey, we are 2-1 so who's complaining. lolOriginally posted by roadrashI was just getting ready to line up a firing squad for my entire coaching staff, my kicker, and my doormat D-line, when I came across a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot stat.
Overall yards per game allowed.
1. Burlington 278.9
2. Iowa City 280.0
WTF does this tell me? Some one help me, I'm on stat fucking overload. How the hell do I lose 3 games and lonly allow 280 yards per game? WTF?

Yeah, I don't want to hear any bitching about your offense, I scored 10 points COMBINED my first two games! I'm not sure how roadrash figures out his numbers, but these are mine. Sack yardage should be included in these types of tabulations."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

About blew a valve in my heart watching the FOF View of my game against Lansing. They got up 14-0 no prob. Could not stop their run! Ogres had TWO 100 yard rushers against me. Offensive couldn't do shit. Finally got a break, score for 14-7, and Lansing responds with another impossible drive to go up 21-7. Offensive was sucking hard esp. with stud DE Purifoy pass rushing the hell outta me against back up OL replacement for T Esqueda. Purifoy is one hard ass motherfucker!!! 2 sacks, 1 block, 4 hurries.
4th quarter and the coach's adjustments start to work. Lots more passing, as the game plan had called for against Lansing's suspect secondary, and Taylor gets the Tornadoes tied 21-21 with 1:40 left. Lansing drives down again. Gets in position for long field goal, and BAM! DE Bordeaux blocks the kick!!!
OT win came after Lansing went for 4 and 1 near their 40 and missed. Questionable coaching to be sure, though I can sympathize given that they had been able to run over us at will all game. OLB Cordova stuffed it, and we went on to drive for a TD.
Great game.
