Thanks, I owe you a fruit basket. That 0-3 start for Reno is really helping my team right now as they figure out their identity---we can't run very well right now

Gameball goes to Troy Wells who had 6 catches for 156 yds with one of them a 93 yard TD. Johnie Loving was 21/36 for 369yds on the day with 2TD's and threw 1 pick.
Madison is very happy to be 2-1 after 3 straight road games. We have a bye next week then ship out again on the road to Lawrence in Week 5. What a schedule!
I cant run very well either right now. Of course my LT Adair didnt play today but the running game still is not right when he is in there. We have some work to do on the bye week.2003,2004,2007,2008,2010,2013,2024,2025,2031,2037, 2038 and 2039 NC North Division Champions, 2012 and 2017 Wild Card

This was the play of the game in my mind. Madison was down 10-0 on the road and was on their own 7 yard line and in trouble. The crowd was going nuts. Loving takes the snap...
1-10-MAD07 (05:35) MAD 9 Loving pass completed to 84 Wells for 93 yards and a touchdown! Wells gained 62 yards after the catch.2003,2004,2007,2008,2010,2013,2024,2025,2031,2037, 2038 and 2039 NC North Division Champions, 2012 and 2017 Wild Card

You know what i mean. Momentum changer right there for my team. That play got us right back in the ballgame. If we would have made a mistake at all down there on the 7 yard line that could have been the ballgame. It was a HUGE play for the Demons!Originally posted by CringerA 93 yard pass for a TD is a big play? You sure? :scratchhead: :POriginally posted by BOSSThis was the play of the game in my mind. I was just getting ready to line up a firing squad for my entire coaching staff, my kicker, and my doormat D-line, when I came across a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot stat.
Overall yards per game allowed.
1. Burlington 278.9
2. Iowa City 280.0
WTF does this tell me? Some one help me, I'm on stat fucking overload. How the hell do I lose 3 games and lonly allow 280 yards per game? WTF?2005 AC North Division Champions

You have a QB with a career 73.3 rating and a RB with a career average of 3.88. Do you need further evidence as to why you aren't winning games? Seriously.. you don't have a Ravens-esque defense.Originally posted by roadrashYou mean pay a guy 9.6 million to sit in a hospital bed like you do?Originally posted by sovstarMaybe it's time to get a real QB, eh rasher."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

I couldn't help but rib ya.
I have considered the possibility I made a mistake by trading out of the 11th spot in the draft when I should have picked up Wilson. But last year Kroll did ok. It was his second year, and I hoped he would develop into a decent QB. I also hope that my O-line is good enough to make him better.
As for Beamer, that is my fault. I'm having a hard time keeping him in. It seems my coach likes to pass with him in the game, and then pull him for run plays alot. I dont' trust my backups that much and would prefer to have Beamer get more carries. I'll figure it out, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I guess I can't really complain about my D at the moment. And my kicker is good, I just hope my O can get him a bit closer in the future.2005 AC North Division Champions
